We are extremely happy to have spent two days at the Capoe house. It was better and more beautiful than we had expected. We were picked up by the Ranger and got a little private Safari tour as he’s an expert of the local animals. Everybody was extremely friendly and helpful, and we receive the warm welcome with a High Tea. Our room was spacious and had a beautiful few as well as a big and clean bathroom. As it was Valentine’s Day, they had decorated the bed with flowers and given us a complementary heart shaped cake. There was definitely good and enough food and drinks and outdoors activity, you can for example get a private trip to the near waterfall without extra costs. There was also a yoga mat available and room service at all times.

Really comprehensive meal options with different fruits and western meal. The staffs are really nice and also share Sri Lanka stories and their own background which let us be more understanding local. This stay was my birthday celebration stay, and the staffs prepare room decoration for me with flowers which make me feel so warm and welcome. We had a great stay in here and will miss this place a lot.

The place is amazing, the staff are so kind trying to make your stay above and beyond your expectations. Food, surroundings, garden, view, everything was wonderful, peaceful and laid back. They also offered me free of charge the trip at Lipton Seat and tea factory.

We stayed in the presidential suite at Andriyala for 3D2N on our honeymoon. It was definitely a highlight of our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka. The room itself was beautiful and newly renovated, with a private pool, deck, and hammock overlooking the countryside. The views are absolutely stunning. You will wake up and sleep to sweeping views of the Sri Lankan tea country. The service was also fantastic. Every meal was served to us private dining style on our deck. Make sure you have dinner while the sun is setting; it's absolutely beautiful. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable during our stay; they organised a scooter as well as a repair service when one of our bags tore. Overall, the presidential suite at Andriyala is a 5 star experience and fantastic value for money. We didn't want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Secret View is one of the best home stay experiences we had in Sri Lanka. Breathtaking views. Perched above the train tracks looking across at Ella’s Rock, Little Adam’s Peak and a waterfall. Sit on the swing and watch sunrise or the misty clouds passing. You have two viewpoints of the iconic train going by as well. It’s magic! The space is a perfect base for exploring Ella + surrounding areas. Private balcony. Well equipped room: plenty of space and comfy seating. Extra blankets. Bed was comfy. Fan, hairdryer and TV should you need it. A fridge with cheap drinks if you’d like to buy. What makes this place most special is Namal and his family. They were the kindest, caring and helpful people. The epitome of Sri Lankan warmth. They welcomed us with open, warm hearts. Great communication over WhatsApp. Helped us book a cooking class (Matey Hut - highly recommend). Made time to check in with us for advice and local tips. Delicious breakfasts. Tuktuk lifts to/from the town which they wouldn’t take payment for. They went above and beyond to make sure I was ok when I felt unwell. I can’t say enough good things about Secret View and Namal + his family. Experiences like these are memories for a lifetime 💕

Very pleasant stay – the cottage was clean and well-equipped. The host was so kind and helpful, and having the option to rent a scooter was a great convenience. Breakfasts were truly delicious. Definitely worth recommending!

Nine Skies is the definition of boutique luxury. It is a small hotel with only 5 rooms and the service we received from all the staff was truly so personable this really felt like a home away from home. The design of the whole hotel is beautiful with a wonderful living room, with a cosy fire in the evenings, and our suite room was beautiful with a terrace. The pool has an amazing view over the tea plantation. All the meals we had were delicious. Our host was very friendly and helpful, organising day trips for us and setting up our own table with lots of candles for dinner by the pool one evening, and also set up our own private breakfast at a look out point which were both lovely experiences. This hotel is brilliant if you want a very quiet, secluded spot in the Hill Country with excellent service and food. It is an expensive hotel but it is worth the money.
