Lavender House is a charming retreat overlooking lush tea plantations, offering an experience that feels more like staying in a beautifully maintained private home than a hotel. The rooms in the main house are elegantly appointed with original furnishings, and the garden is impeccably tended, adding to the sense of serenity and refinement. We traveled as a family and initially stayed in two rooms in the main building. Midway through our stay, we were generously upgraded to their expansive three-bedroom villa, which features a private terrace, hot tub, and dining area. Though more contemporary in style, the villa offered an equally special and memorable experience. What truly sets Lavender House apart, however, is the outstanding hospitality. Under the expert leadership of Saman, the manager, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their attention to detail was remarkable—they anticipated our needs, checked in on us regularly, and even accompanied us on excursions. A special mention goes to Viduna, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. Dining at Lavender House was another highlight. Each day, Chef Shantha and his talented kitchen team consulted with us about our preferences for breakfast and dinner, crafting exquisite Sri Lankan and Western dishes as well as high teas. The level of personalized service was extraordinary, making every meal a delight. For relaxation, the hotel offers spa treatments that can be enjoyed either outdoors or in the privacy of your room. The masseur, Supun, is truly gifted—his massages were so exceptional that we booked four treatments during our stay. Highly recommended! The team also curated engaging activities that made our visit even more special. We embarked on two scenic hikes—one to a local waterfall and another to the breathtaking vantage point of Peacock Hill.

I really enjoyed staying here. the atmosphere was fantastic. it was an amazing view. the landlord is respectful. there is a special person here his name is Akila and I never met like him. he is not just helpful but also has huge historical information about the country, which will help you to understand many things in Sri Lanka. his hospitality is something I can't explain as I think you will see something different if you visit this place and meet this man. they can make your food as well. I recommend this villa, especially for family. there are 5 rooms and you can book the whole Villa as a family and enjoy the place. I felt as if I was at home. just the Road need some maintenance, but they can take you from the main road through the top of the hill. only thing the internet is quite not good but for me I don't care about it but I have to be honest, However the told me that the company was doing some maintenance for the tower of communications.

The place is a m a z i n g so peaceful and gives back energy. Great staff especially dumi they were so so king and generous to us and gave the most welcome feeling.

Nice and cooperative staff with modern room was very clean, calm and quiet. Provide service with care. Had a deluxe room . Food were delicious. Portion size is enough presentation was very nice.
