This is a beautiful property, the staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely in a sunny area with views of the mountains. This was even better than described. The room was very large with a great bed and bathroom.

Excellent Location Supper friendly staff made really made us it’s our home. Specially so flexible for meal times etc unlike many other hotel restrict the guests for last meal, breakfast time etc. there is nothing like that here and they go really out of their way to make sure that we are well comfortable.

Everything! The location, the property and the view are amazing. The owner and the staff are both very polite, helpful and friendly. They let us take a closer look to their bee hives when we requested it and did everything to get to us something that we forgot at our room on our next destination. Beautiful peaceful location out of town, beside the highest village in Sri Lanka. Surrounded by tea plantations and other small cultivations, and inside the grounds is a perfectly tended garden and very professional welcome from the small team. Short walks available to a viewpoint amongst the tea. Room and bathroom both spacious and as in the photos. Dinner and breakfast both delicious. The banana bread in particular! No problem to order us a taxi to go to the station the next morning too. More expensive than the average accommodation, but certainly value for money compared to other similar high-end “boutique” accommodations in Sri Lanka (which can start at $900 per night - and I’m not sure the extra butler would be worth the difference!)

Really beautiful rooms with a lot of character. Definitely the rooms with the most character we had in Sri Lanka. The location is stunning too, and the hosts are always happy to organise a (very) early packed-breafast if you want to leave for an early walk. Very quiet, with beautiful rooms.

Amazing, exceptional, and very well thought out - That’s how we would describe our stay here While one has been to many (arguably) more scenic locations, however staying at this hotel has been the best experience ever. From the moment we got to the property, we were pampered thoroughly, be it the food or offering to take us to the attractions or arranging the specific vehicle we wanted, or even the smallest details in terms of how the room should be kept, table arrangements etc. Must say that Dushyanta (the GM) has put in a lot of efforts in finding the best team possible and the results are there to be seen – every person on the staff here is willing to go over and beyond their job, wanting to make sure the guests are comfortable. Special thanks to Chef Royce, the pastry chef and their entire team for serving sumptuous 6 course meals, catering to all our dietary constraints - each item served was just plain delicious; to Janaka, Chandu and others for taking care of us and to Amanda for figuring out our travel related details. We will surely be back next time we are in Sri Lanka.
