We were absolutely blown away by this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, they really took care of every guest. But what really impressed us was the food - it was outstanding! The food was amazing and the service was exceptional, they were very helpful with arranging transport, activities and helping wherever we needed. The location was also perfect about a 5 min tuk tuk from the centre of Marissa which was perfect as it was far less chaotic in this location.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ubuntu Beach villas! 💜 Lakmal and the staff looked after us so well and we felt very spoiled. The villas are absolutely stunning and very special, completely beach front! We very much enjoyed that we could use the facilities and amazing restaurant at the Latern villa also. The food is absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend staying at Ubuntu Beach Villas and will definitely be back!!! The accommodation itself is rather average. But what makes the stay special is the family you stay with. Hospitality is very important here and you can have great conversations about Sri Lanka or the world. Rarely could I build a direct connection so quickly and enjoyed it. So if you are not into those anonymous hotels, but want to have direct contact with the locals, then I can only recommend a stay here. The location of the accommodation is a bit outside pretty much between Mirissa and Weligama. The way to the beach to Weligama is not far away and you can walk here for miles. This was really nice. The way to Mirissa is not so nice, but a ride with the tuktuk is recommended. I enjoyed my stay here a lot and would return anytime.

The second I walked in and saw the views I was awestruck by the magnificent views, we stayed in Sri Lanka for a month and we spent most of our trip at Villa Vista.
