Luxury Hotels in Trincomalee

We have just enjoyed 3 nights at this absolutely wonderful hotel. From start to finish, the service was 5* we were greeted with a Hindu tradition, which was special. Thank you Moheshi (inthinknthis was her name) All members of staff took the time to talk to us and get to know us with genuine interest. Including Emran at reception. The pool attendent was a great man, and we enjoyed talking with him. Special mention to Roshan in the restaurant who really tried to ensure we enjoyed our breakfast and make indian tea the way we like it. ( Breakfast) was honestly a feast on days when there were fewer guests we had a la carte. The hotel itself has wonderful touches. Everything is brand new and so untouched. The towels and linen were immaculate, and everywhere was clean. The gym was well equipped, and the swimming pool was beautiful with a stunning view of the sea. Our room was spacious, we loved the outdoor terrace. The grounds are well kept and constantly maintained. We would love to come back when the sea is calmer to enjoy the beautiful ocean. Thank you for making our stay memorable. ( we considered staying a few more nights, but the rain was relentless)

Impossible to improve! Everything perfect; from the arangements with owner Rory to the welcoming by manager mr Siyath and the amazing apartment itself. Large rooms, fully equiped kitchen (including cold water dispenser), comfortable furniture, large balcony, best shower in Sri lanka. Absolutely fantastic. The pool was good and clean and of course you have the ocean 50 m from your door. Room service also very good and other restaurants nearby. Heaven on earth!

Wonderful Stay at Trinco Star Hotel – Amazing Hospitality! We had a lovely stay at Trinco Star Hotel in Trincomalee. The highlight of our experience was the incredible hospitality of the owner, Mr. Shafeek. He is truly a kind and generous person who went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We also booked a dolphin/whale watching and snorkeling package through him. Initially, we mentioned that we weren’t fully satisfied with the experience — but instead of ignoring it, Mr. Shafeek kindly offered us another chance for free, just to ensure we left happy. That kind of service and care is rare and truly appreciated. Thanks to him, we had a memorable time in Trincomalee. We are very grateful for his support and warm hospitality, and we highly recommend Trinco Star Hotel to anyone visiting the area. ☺️

Staying at Rory's penthouse apartment was kind of dream coming true. The views from the balcony and rooftop jacuzzi were unreal. The interior was elegant, with very high attention to detail. Everything was exactly as in the pictures. The kitchen was shopisticated with all possible utensils, porcelains, and cutlery. We loved every bit of four day stay here.

Breakfasts were so tasty and the products were fresh. We enjoyed traditional Tamil food with an attractive view of the beach and the ocean which are 5 meters beside the hotel. Also, you can always order fresh juices or curd-iced lassis. If you want something special for breakfast you can also order for example English breakfast or even chicken rice with curry. You can order any food for dinner. At our dinners, we ate crabs, calamari, redfish, scallops, octopus, and even skat. And believe me, the price for each dinner is much lower than in restaurants of Trincomalee city, portions are big and food is so fresh and yummy. We rent one new scooter for a very good price. Also, you can scuba dive here with instructor Dencil or even go just for snorkeling or for an exursion to watch dolphins.
