Special thanks to Mr Rahul Maini the gen manager at this hotel.. this hotel is immaculate and well managed best place to stay in Colombo. Upon arrival we were met by Mr Emil Gularatnam, special thanks, who was very courteous & professional even taking time to escort us to our room. The room was well manicured nothing to complain about at all. Thanks to the team at the lounge Chef Priyenca, Dilan Nimesha Amandi Yasabi. Many thanks to the restaurant floor 1 team- Mr Shehan & Mr Yehan together with their team- chef Janz, chef Nimisha, Aditya, Sirul, Kavindu & Sangeetha at reception...made our stay special. My son had a bit of upset and was well looked after by the dining area staff thanks Mr Shehan. Our housekeeper was Yohan who made sure our room was always clean and well made day and night. We will return to this hotel🥂🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The owner and his family are very friendly. He organized the storage and transport of our surfboards for us, so that we could only travel with light luggage and our surfboards were waiting for us in the south. The breakfast completely exceeded our expectations. The owner's wife prepared many small Sri Lankan breakfast dishes with a lot of love - you definitely have to try them. You just have to give 40 minutes' notice in advance, as she prepares everything fresh. The hotel's location is ideal for the first or last day of your trip.

Great cultural/historical experience. If you a bawa fan this stay is essential. So well preserved, and the staff make the experience authentic. While the stay felt like a preserved time capsule it also offered a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Colombo. Tharak and Anthony were great hosts. Helpful and friendly.

Aathma is a feast for the eyes and the heart. The setting is so lovely with lake views and peaceful gardens. As others have said there is always something new, beautiful or quirky to catch your eye. The hotel feels like a treasured family home in which you are an honoured guest. The staff are excellent, so professional and competent but friendly and fun as well. Bohoma stoothi Imran and Geeth for your outstanding care of us. The food was also some of the best we have had in Sri Lanka.
