John was so accommodating and really made us feel welcome in siargao! It was so nice to have the comfort of a home at the end of our travels. John sorted us out with a motorbike too all extremely seamless 🙏🏼🙏🏼 couldn’t recommend enough for a long or short stay ! The property was located in a very safe place, with access to shops and restaurants all around so a prime location.

Everything! We felt safe and very well taken care of. All the staff, especially Kim (manager), provided excellent service. They are kind, very helpful and respectful, so professional and attentive. First thing is first, Gian is the most lovely, cheerful and helpful angel we have ever met. From the moment we got to Kalipay she greeted us with the kindest smile and helped us with absolutely everything with scooter hire, surf bookings and recommendations, general questions and information it was very refreshing. As for the accommodation it was a dream. If someone was to open their own resort and ask me for advice I would tell them to copy Kalipay, the shower, the room, the water just everything is perfect. We stayed only 3 days in Siargao and that is still my biggest regret since being back. If I could do my whole Philippines trip again I would spend much more time here, every single staff member from the cleaners, to security, to the gentleman who was taking care of the garden are all so kind and accomodating. ALSO THEY HAVE THE BEST COCONUTS ON ARRIVAL!

We had such a great week staying in this beautiful luxurious apartment in the heart of Dapa just 5 min walking to the port. It had all the comforts we needed to after spending almost a month in the Philippines. The owner checked on us since the very beginning just to make sure that our staying was as we expected and actually it exceeded it. The apartment has a very comfy beds, spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen and the best bathroom with a huge shower and the Aircon works perfectly!! And the best part was the terrace where we could have a great times at sunset and sunrise! We were very happy with the caretaker and the maintenance guy who are such a reliable people and looked after us! The owner and the staff solved in a blink of an eye any single issue that we had...they actually brought a generator very quickly in order to not letting us without electricity when a power cut happened and we could rent a motorbike from them which allowed us to travel troughout the island very comfortably and for a cheap price. So we couldn't be more satisfied with our staying!!! Do not hesitate to choose this great apartment when you decide to stay in Siargao even for one night!

Everything was great at Punta Punta Surf Retreat. We stayed for 1 week and loved everything about it. The owners and staff were very helpful and accommodating, even with some changes we had to make during our visit. The Retreat is lovely decorated, with a great ocean view. We booked surf-lessons directly there and got introduced to very great surf-instructors, thank you for that. One more thing: Breakfast is the best we‘ve had in a very long time :)

L’Osteria is s lovely small Hotel with very nice, Moderna and clean rooms with sea views. It is lovely to sit in the garden and have delicious breakfast and also a superb Italian dinner under the moonlight. All people working at L’Osteria and are very service minded and so nice

My husband and I stayed at Kalinaw for 4 nights. Kalinaw only recently reopened, the villa was HUGE/MASSIVE with a private pool. There were couple other villas still under construction next to ours however the resort staff were aware of this and accomodating for this minor inconvenience. Our only criticism for the room is a patchy wi-fi and pillows were too soft for us. Staff were very attentive and friendly, breakfasts were all very good, the cocktails (in particular, fresh coco shake with rum and banana daiquiri) were fantastic, and Chablis with cheese platter and croque monsieur was great too. We had a steak and a rabbit for dinner, which were good but the steak was somewhat small and the rabbit was a little salty for me - but again, overall, food was great and very well priced. Staff were very helpful organising a scooter rental and massage as well as complimentary yoga mats. We had massages twice during our stay, once in outdoor area and once in our room! The infinity pool was fantastic, we enjoyed the morning/afternoon/evening dips every single time we get a chance. The surrounding garden space was very tropical and beautiful as well. The communication with the reception and the restaurants are all via ipad messenger, and the responses were timely. There is no actual beach front, the villa stands out onto a retaining wall on to the waterfront. Villa is located about 900m from Cloud 9 (15mins walk), about 2.5km from central town (5mins scooter) and less than 3 mins walking distance from a new restaurant “Roots”. Overall, we had a good relaxing time and we highly recommend the Kalinaw for your luxury stay in Siargao!

We stayed in Mango tree for 5 nights and the experience was amazing; the photos are exactly what you find everything was super clean and tidy the team in charge is great, super helpful and also respectful there are many options for breakfast and all are super good the house is 10 minutes away by motorbike from the beaches & restaurants which is close enough but enabling to feel the peace and privacy of the forest, the views are brutal. we will for sure repeat!
