The hotel is located in the center of the city, with excellent views that beat my expectation. The staff at the reception and dining area are very friendly and willing to help. I barely moved out of the Hotel since you will find most of the amenities on site. Breakfast was very good, quite a variety to choose from, very clean dining area. I was looking forward to breakfast for the time I stayed at the facility. Another thing I loved about the hotel is it is not crowded, if you are looking for a private time. i enjoyed the pool alone for two days. Very nice and well stocked bar with band in the evening. Highly recommended! I would definitely go back!

This is a very well run and real 5 star hotel. The environments within the hotel are all very nicely designed and provide lots of space to relax or work. The beds are very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep.

It's not my first time at Serena, but the other times I couldn't use any of the amenities. This time I used the Gym, the sauna and enjoyed the overall atmosphere of this hotel, and the feeling is great. The rooms are not new, so shower and wc could be improved. But the room is huge, the service is excellent, like it is expected in a 5 starts. Small courtesy like preparing your room for the night, plenty of complementary water, very nice view to the garden and sea. The gym is excellent. Small details like having a smart TV that connects to our phone are also a plus. And they were very friendly to allow me a late check out considering I was taking a late flight, so it allow me to take a nice shower before leaving. The hotel is general is not a new style hotel, but you can feel the tradition and a mix of Arabic and África. There's a lot of people coming from outside to use the restaurant and that gives some extra life to the hotel. The other times I was not so impressed, this time I loved it. Thank you to all staff.

The apartment is very close to the Zanzibar ferry terminal, and that is the reason why we chose it. We only needed to take a short walk to the apartment. The location is great, and we could easily walk to or take a taxi to where we need to be. Breakfast is served across the road at the casino. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment was much more than what we expected; it was very clean and spacious. The views across the city are fantastic. All the amenities you would need incl. fully air-conditioned, washing machine, fridge/freezer, and microwave. Netflix and Wi-Fi worked great.

This is the second time I have stayed here. The hotel is situated in the centre of Dar Es Salaam which made it easy for me to move around. The hotel staff are very friendly and they offer excellent customer service. The hotel manager is a gentleman, very humble and down to earth, made sure me and my family had the best time at the apartment. I highly recommend it.
