Opened in December 2014, Hotel Nassfeld is located right in the Sonnenalpe Nassfeld Ski Area, only 100 metres from the slopes and the nearest chair lift. Room was big and comfortable. Ski depot is modern with heated warmers for boots. Saunas are clean and good. The staff is very helpful and kind. They speak Croatian and it was helpful since I can speak Croatian quite good. I enjoyed all that hotel has to offer. Breakfast is excellent. Garage is also available.

Almresort Gartnerkofel chalets are situated 1500 metres above sea level at the, directly at the ski piste. The stylish chalets feature a balcony, and have free WiFi available. Great location on the slope. Spacious. Well and thoughtfully equipped.

Located in the Sonnenalpe Nassfeld Ski Area, 50 metres from the nearest ski lift and ski school, Hotel Wulfenia offers ski-to-door access, free WiFi, and an 800 m² spa area which can be used free of... I don’t even know where to begin the praise for this place! Everything was excellent! From the room, to the spa, and the staff, my God, the staff! Nicest people you could ask for. The fact that it’s adult only ensures that you get plenty of rest and quiet. But this does not mean boredom! Let me detail our experience. We booked a standard room. When we arrived, they told us they upgraded our room which was the first pleasant surprise. Then, seeing we had a dog, they asked if we want to dine in the restaurant or in the lobby bar, because dogs were permitted in the lobby bar. We had breakfast in the lobby and dinner in the restaurant. Then, each one of us got a vacation card, which we could use for all kind of activities, like the lift, rafting, museums and so on (some were for free, others discounted). In the room, the first fill of the minibar was free (like whaaat??), we got a bowl and treats for the dog. The toilet is in a separate room from the washroom, which if you’re the lady in a straight couple you know is a plus 😅 the shower was huge and they have the nicest toiletries (even lip balm!). The room was also super quiet, or maybe we did not have any neighbours. In the restaurant, we were always seated at the same table, which was really nice. For the breakfast you can order 3 kinds of eggs, there’s cheese and salami and the others, but also muesli, fruit, baked goods and jams. Oh and some super crispy bacon! The dinner is 5 course, and for the soup and the main you can choose from a variety which is really nice. The food is top notch! I still think about the lamb I had and the mango and chilly sorbet (that made my mouth hot and cold simultaneously). The spa is nice and quiet, there are 2 pools and a jacuzzi. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy and relax. And lastly, the staff. Everyone, from the reception, to the guys from the bar and the restaurant are super professional and nice. Everyone loves dogs and will pet them at any chance.

Sölle Homes Nassfeld is located amidst the Nassfeld ski area, at 1550 metres above sea level, directly at the ski lift and guests can ski down to the property. This was an excellent late find in the region during the long weekend. Everything was good! The property accepted our late check In request and arranged for keys accordingly. Thank you!

I have a little girl and she brought her favourite toy. Every time the cleaning lady came she would put the toy in a different pose as if it is also having fun in the room. My daughter loved it

Surrounded by a 7,000 m² garden with a heated outdoor pool, Forellenhof Waldner offers apartments with a balcony or terrace in Gundersheim in the Gail Valley. Wi-Fi and parking are free of charge. Very clean, very friendly host, amazing mountain-views! Well equipped apartment. Ski-bus stops right in front of the house. They also offer a room for ski equipment.

Apartments Schluga offers apartments with a loggia directly on Lake Pressegg in Carinthia’s Gail Valley. It has a private beach and offers free Wi-Fi. Wonderful and delightful. Tamara very hospitable and welcoming. She was very helpful in connecting me with nearby relatives who I have not seen in 47 years. The owner, too, was extremely approachable and kind. Wish we could have stayed longer than two nights.

Alpen Adria Hotel & Spa is only 100 metres away from the shore of Lake Pressegg. It offers a large spa area, indoor and outdoor pools, and free parking. Our room was very spacious and clean. The pool area was nice and well kept. Wearing a robe to breakfast and lunch was fun:). You won’t need to go anywhere else for breakfast, lunch or dinner- the food was amazing!
