Family-run since 1654, Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain enjoys a quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests, only 250 metres from the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain and a 10-minute drive from Salzburg. Free WiFi is available. I really loved the decoration of the room — stylish and cozy! The view is absolutely fantastic — you can see the whole city of Salzburg right from the window, which made the stay even more special. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The Flachauerhof's modern furnished rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a safe, and a bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. Beautiful hotel, great location, modern, very well designed, the staff was very kind and helpful and they made sure we had everything we needed. We arrived very late due to heavy traffic as we were driving from far, and reception closes at 20:00 so we contacted them and they told us they will leave our key in a safe box, she made sure we had all the instructions and she was always willing to help and really kind. The room was big and pleasant, I loved the rituals toiletries! And the view was beautiful, the bed was also comfortable, and breakfast was excellent! They had a lot of choice and variety :) We only stayed 1 night as we needed a stop over, and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel! I wish we could have stayed longer, but we are hoping to go back sometime again :) thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality!

The city center of Salzburg is just 8 km away and is easy reachable by public transport (bus stop next to the hotel). Our location is an ideal starting points to visit all sights of Salzburg and nearby Berchtesgaden. In this traditional hotel, hospitality goes back a long way - the establishment was founded as early as 1886. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room looked like on the photo and it was clean. The bathroom was equipped with everything what need during the stay. The breakfast was delicious and satiesfied any expectations. After a tiring day was very pleasurable relaxing in the wellness centre.
