Located in San Pedro de Atacama, 8 km from Piedra del Coyote, Hotel Desertica has a garden, as well as free WiFi. The location is excellent, in downtown, close to restaurants, tour business, etc. Although it is in downtown, it is still a quiet and relaxing location. Breakfast was amazing. It is not the buffet style breakfast but you order from the menu and you can order as much as you want. Everything was well prepared, fresh and tasty. The breakfast pan amasado was amazing. The pool area was quiet, nicely decorated with comfy chairs and towels available. It is an outdoor pool. The rooms were nicely decorated with high quality sheets, mattress and pillows. It was clean and bottles of waters were left everyday in the room (for free). The bathroom was big, of a modern design with nice bathrobes available. Showers were great. Their products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, body cream) where all in big bottles (no struggling to make sure you had enough) and where high quality. Even small tins of lip protection are available (weather can be hot and dry). Wifi is available and works well. All personnel was professional, very helpful and very friendly. Overall, it is a great place to stay. I will definitely stay there again if I travel to beautiful San Pedro de Atacama again.

The hotel itself is incredibly beautiful and well designed. There are many spaces such as lounge areas, living rooms, kitchens and pool areas where you can wind down and relax after a strenuous day of activities and hiking. The staff is so helpful and welcoming that we felt immediately right at home. They helped us organize tours, find restaurants and even our transfer to our next stop on the trip. They had an answer to almost every question, and if they didn’t, they found one within an hour or two and sent it to us per WhatsApp. The breakfasts were amazing and coffee, tea, oats and cereals were available all day with many alternative milk options. They even made us to-go breakfasts in a bag for the days where our tour left early in the morning. We wouldn’t even think about staying anywhere else when visiting San Pedro again.

Everything was magnificent. Newly renovated, magnificent views and staff, great food, drinks and excursions. Up in the best 2 hotels in the world I have ever stayed at.

Beautiful hotel, confortable rooms. Restaurant has good food, but a little expensive. Very friendly and helpful staff. Overall great experience.

Boasting 3 swimming pools and a fitness centre, Cumbres San Pedro de Atacama offers rooms with private balconies 2 km from the Atacama Desert. Spa facilities include 2 hot tubs and 2 saunas. Good location considering if you have a rent-a-car, because it’s couple of minutes away from the center of San Pedro de Atacama. But it is also doable if you walk ~ 10min walk. Friendly and helpful staff. Good security at the entry to the hotel property. Amazing massage at the hotel spa for a very reasonable price!!! 5 swimming pools at the property. Good breakfast and dinner. And I would also recommend trying Pisco Sour Rica Rica / Rica Rica is herb known for this region/this part of Chile (Antofagasta, San Pedro de Atacama). Big room and huge bed. Loved it! Indoor and outdoor shower in the room. Every day 4 complementary bottles of fresh water. Coffee capsules refilled every day. We stayed for 3 nights.
