The serene atmosphere and stunning views make this place unforgettable, but what truly made our stay magical was the top-notch spa and service from the staff. We had the best massage of our lives—it was pure perfection. The therapists were incredibly skilled, and the tranquil open-air setting elevated the entire experience. To top it off, we were treated to the enchanting sight of monkeys playing in the trees during our massage! It felt like something out of a dream. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and fresh. Nothing quite like starting your day with a freshly brewed cup of coffee while toucans flutter through the trees. Special thanks to Jogebeth, whose warmth and impeccable service made our stay even more special. From her attention to detail to her genuine care for our comfort, she went above and beyond. Arenal Amor is a slice of paradise!

The suites also feature a living area. Thermal resort was highlight of our whole stay in CR. It was our second time here, but definitely not last.

Forget reading reviews at other hotels and weighing your options--do yourself a favour and just stay here. It is amazing, clean, your bungalows are comfortable. Each has a great back porch with sitting area directly facing the volcano. Food was excellent--the buffet breakfast was exceptional, and dinner and room service options were delicious, quality and value for money

This resort has a beautiful setting outside Chachagua and 15 km from La Fortuna city center and 32 km from Arenal Volcano. What an amazing and special place to stay. Customer service was exceptional and arrival felt very special. Literally you are in the middle of the rainforest. The hot springs were amazing and our son kept asking why we werent staying longer. The lodge was very beautiful indeed and felt very sheltered from others gaze. The amenities in our lodge and elsewhere were fabulous. Amazing food! Relaxed and atmospheric. We did a walk of the expansive grounds which are also very impressive.

La Fortuna is less than 10 minutes’ drive away. This is one of the best hotels we stayed. Staff, grounds, property, location are excellent. Very cozy and comfortable. Lot of nature all around. Would highly recommend to any one who is visiting this area.

Featuring a bar, the 4-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation features room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. Chato Arenal Lodge has a nice breakfast with fresh fruits and an amazing view from the restaurant. The room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable, I loved that the hotel is at a walking distance from La Fortuna waterfalls and a five minutes drive from the downtown where you can have access to restaurants, cafes and the hot springs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, Esteban was very helpful and shared with me some beautiful location that I can visit. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying at Chato Arenal on my next visit to Costa Rica.
