The suite, including private deck with jetted tub set in an amazing jungle garden, was better than advertised, as was the general pools area. Amazing views, very big rooms with whirlpool bathtub, incredible hot spring pools and super fast slide. Our 8yo loved the game room, darts, pool table, and had fun with Esteban and Gustavo! We loved Club Rio, feeding the wildcats and river tubing. The staff is lovely.

Chato Arenal Lodge has a nice breakfast with fresh fruits and an amazing view from the restaurant. The room was super clean and the beds were very comfortable, I loved that the hotel is at a walking distance from La Fortuna waterfalls and a five minutes drive from the downtown where you can have access to restaurants, cafes and the hot springs. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, Esteban was very helpful and shared with me some beautiful location that I can visit. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying at Chato Arenal on my next visit to Costa Rica.
