What I liked the most was the exceptionally warm and friendly treatment of the hotel staff. The hotel is a very well preserved old mansion, apparently from the 19th century, with a beautiful architecture. The room was very clean, the bed well made and clean. The bathroom was also impeccable, with clean towels and bath gel in the shower as well as in the sink. It should be noted that unlike many other hotel rooms I have visited, in this case, the hot water temperature could be regulated quite well and smoothly, without the problems that often afflict electric water heaters, in which the hot water supply is cut off due to low flow. Breakfast was balanced, attentively served and well presented. Another detail that the visitor should consider is that the hotel is strategically located in the center of Quito, relatively close to the San Francisco metro station, and much closer to the trolleybus station. It is perfectly possible, as I did, to travel from the Quitumbe bus station to the San Francisco metro station.

At check in we had a problem with the price because the booking showed a different price and at the hotel they asked us for extra money but luckily the hotel manager came and we paid what the application said. A very kind gentleman and smiling. At breakfast there was an abundance of food, juices and coffees. The rooms were extremely clean and every two days we had new towels. From my room I had a view of the street and the mountain of Quito. I would definitely stay there again!!

Great secure parking for our motorbikes. Everything you could need and the hosts are amazing. Breakfast was also fantastic and one of the best we have had. Very quiet location.

The restaurant connected to the hotel is amazing!!!! Also, the hostess told me about the history of the indigenous culture and gave me a wonderful tour. I would definitely stay again.

Community Hostel Alausi có khu vườn, phòng chờ chung, sân hiên và nhà hàng ở Alausí. Hostel 5 sao này có bàn bán tour và phòng giữ hành lý. Tại hostel, tất cả các phòng có sân trong. My only regret about visiting Alausi was not staying longer. I first came to hike the Nariz del Diablo which I highly recommend if you want spectacular views, but would have stayed for the small town, the food, the people and the Community Hostel. Don Marco was nothing but welcoming, making me feel right at home, in this beautiful property he has. The rooms were spacious and the breakfast really good. If you have time you can even sit down and chat with him around a cup of tea and a couple cookies. While there I suggest to go eat at La estacion del tren, you might even run into Don Marco eating lunch there. Everyone that I met took the time to chat with me. It is truly the best experience I’ve had so far in Ecuador!
