Featuring a seasonal outdoor pool with a furnished terrace, Hotel Cuevas is located on a rustic building with modern décor and that is nestled in the picturesque village of Santillana del Mar. Everything. Staff through all interactions, front desk, restaurant, etc were wonderful. Room was very comfortable and the small balcony a bonus. Wish I had more time to stay, is definitely a hotel in would return to.

A modern, clean and comfortable apartment with the benefit of a pool just outside the door. There are 3 apartments in total, but no one else was staying at the same time as us, so we were lucky enough to have the pool and car park area to ourselves. This is a good base for exploring the beautiful Cantabrian coast.

Offering free WiFi and a barbecue, Molino Tejada is set in Polientes, 45 km from Reinosa. Crespo is 28 km from the property. Free private parking is available on site. Staying in Molino Tejada has been an extraordinary experience. The room we had was in a beautiful old stone building with wooden rafters. Echoing the owner’s area of expertise, it is decorated with exceptional taste. It also has a minimalist kitchenette, with coffee provided. There are communal rooms to relax in - one with a giant screen and another decorated with instruments and other objects, which has a glass floor to reveal the river that flows beneath it. There are books and objets d’art everywhere. We paid for the breakfast which is excellent. In the evenings there is a space outside where food and drinks are served. It is set in a truly magical place and very near many places of exceptional beauty.
