We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a magical place, just a short ride from Cuenca. You get your own separate “pod”—a spacious, comfortable and immaculate room with sliding doors onto your own patio and a private view of the expanse. Breakfast is delivered to your room in a beautiful basket laden with delicious croissants, fruit, cheese, etc. The bathroom is modern and luxurious: an extra perk is the shower gel that’s scented with honey and local flowers. All of the staff are welcoming. Overall, a charming and unique accommodation.

The staff were so helpful. With my limited Spanish and their limited English, they were still so patient and helpful so we could drop off luggage early. The views were incredible and we were within walking distance of all the amazing sites of old town Cuenca. The apartment had everything we needed. I just loved it!

The food was delicious- local home-cooked food. The room was wonderful - up in the loft, with heaps of space. Beautifully renovated old building. The owners were very accommodating and kind, helping us deal with the car hire company when our car broke down.

Parador de Alarcón is an 8th-century Moorish castle, set next to the Júcar River. It is located above the Medieval village of Alarcón, and offers free public parking on site. Fabulous location , free parking ,cosy rooms lovely staff.
