Mr Rennet could not have been more helpful and available. He was so accommodating and responsive. The apt was so clean and everything was up to date and worked so well. He really made sure to welcome me and even helped arrange for a bicycle.

Set in a traditional Savoyard building, this lakeside hotel is located in Talloires in the Rhône-Alpes region. Everything we were hoping for: great location, super friendly staff, qualitative experience (clean & lovely facilities, bed & food).

Located on the bank of Lake Annecy, Abbaye de Talloires offers comfortable accommodation with cultural heritage and a gourmet restaurant. There is free private parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. This place has views unlike any other hotel! It was one of the most lovely and whimsical places I’ve ever stayed. Behind the hotel is a beautiful mountain which seems to always have paragliding happening. The other side is the beautiful lake where you can sit on chairs right next to the water while you eat and drink wine. The character and history of the building was beautiful. The staff was excellent, especially the waiters and waitresses. I am vegan and my boyfriend vegetarian, they were more than happy to make us amazing meals! There is a plant based menu for dinner as well which we were so happy to see. The food is wonderful and beautifully presented. They have a nice parking lot for people who drive there and have bikes you can rent which I highly recommend. We will definitely try to return soon!

Very easy to get the keys and do the check in. Cannot wait to come back.
