In the immediate vicinity of the station, you can also enjoy the port and its bus boats (10 minutes walk), the beaches of Mourillon (2.3km) and the natural Anses de la Mitre and Magaud. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was one of the best we have had. Unfortunately the weather was cool and rainy and we were not able to enjoy the beach or the grounds as we had hoped.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 10 km from Saint-Raphaël Valescure Train Station. This 4-star apartment offers private entrance. We stayed at this apartment for the second time and it remains a wonderful location with a pool in the garden. The owner and her assistant are very helpful, and we always felt that they were taking care of us. The beach is within walking distance, and there's a bakery at the end of the street that is open every day until 8 pm. You can buy really good local pastries there, like croissants. The city can be a bit crowded in summer, but it's manageable. There is a local market every Tuesday and Thursday, which is recommended for getting fresh veggies and fruits.
