This romantic 4-star country house hotel offers views from each bedroom. It offers a Scottish dining and local seafood in the property's restaurant with a choice of menus. The food is the best we had in Scotland up till now. The room is very pleasant with a homey feel. The staff are very friendly. We even got a box of chocolates in our room and also a special treat for our celebration. I will definitely be back. This time with my dog, since they are very welcome there.

The location was great, right along the seafront in Oban. The place was spotless and in excellent condition. But what set it apart for us was the staff and the overall service. Carrie was informative and friendly throughout our stay. From the warm welcome, to helpful information during our stay, through to the friendly goodbye to us and our dog on departure, she and the rest of the staff made the visit one we hope to repeat. Breakfast, too, was well executed and made for a nice start to each day.

Attention to detail in everything was amazing. The small things such as food and drinks to go were great and kept us fueled during a grueling round of golf at Machrihanish. This is a great base for a trip a golf trip of going to Carradale, Dunaverty or Machrihanish. The breakfast was exceptional; We had a full menu to choose from for our breakfast with different options. As far as Scottish breakfasts go this was up their with the best we have had.

Situated in Oban, in a building dating from 19th century, Glenburnie House provides a garden and guestrooms with free WiFi. We had a wonderful stay here. The place is very well maintained and the house is magnificent. The room was extremely spacious and clean. Dan and Graeme were extremely friendly and provided us with some recommendations. Location is very close to the center of Oban.
