With a picturesque setting on the banks of the River Dee, this charming Scottish mansion dates back to 1225 AD, and was once home to the Knights Templar. Excellent property, fab location, wonderful grounds... the view of the river is gorgeous.. great staff... the place is just perfect. Loved it.

One of the most lovely B&Bs we've ever stayed in. It's like a filming location, has a lot of charme and an even better breakfast! The room was very cosy (Nr. 6) with a marvellous view over the city center. Just a short walk and you're at the harbour. Definitely a place we want to return!!

Alison and Hugh are just wonderful and made us feel very at home. The room was charming - cozy beds and a nice modern bathroom with great bath products. Breakfast was exceptional and we enjoyed all the extra touches in the house that relate to it's heritage. It's the kind of place you almost don't want to tell people about lest you can't get a booking when you return!

This is one of the best B&Bs we've stayed in. Our host was very welcoming and went above and beyond. The room was perfect with an amazing view and the breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely stay again.

The kitchen was very well equipped and had plenty of tea, coffee and sugar supplies. Very comfortable living room with cosy sofa and good size TV. Nice balcony - can see the sea over the rooftops. Good sized bathroom, very clean. Bedroom was bright, airy and comfortable.

A short walk from the shops on Elgin High Street, Moraydale Guest House offers attractive bed and breakfast accommodation in Moray. Lovely guest house close to the centre of Elgin, really friendly staff and owner - will definetly come back!

The accommodation was beautifully decorated and was lovely and spacious. We were in one of the garden rooms and it was very quiet and perfect for us and the dog. The breakfast was a great start to the day and the food in the evening was excellent. We had fantastic meals every time we ate there. All the staff were welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We were within 5 minutes of the beach which was beautiful especially in the evening. A great location for exploring Aberdeen and the surrounding areas. I highly recommend it here and we can't wait to come back.
