In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. Lovely building and the room was superb. Lots of attention to detail with furnishings. Bed huge and super comfy. Staff were great and Ian was fantastic with us as we arrived a little early but Ian let us have our room so we could go out around Windermere without having to come back to check in. This was much appreciated.

The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Breakfast is amazing, with a-la-carte eggs, and buffet with yogurt parfaits, breads, and other snacks. Beautiful dining room. On-site parking is an authentic local experience, but much appreciated. Staff were really wonderful and helpful. After-hours check in was flawless.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. The room is beautiful and the bed is wide and super comfortable. I checked in quite late, and sent the message earlier so the landlord kindly manage to sent the instruction on how to find my room key which I found it very helpful. The room amenities also quite generous with tea and coffee collections and chocolate drinks. Thanks a lot 👍🏽

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Fabulous hotel 10 min out of Keswick. Beautiful views, lovely rooms and a plush lounge/bar area. Staff are always amazingly friendly especially Claire 😁 4th time at this hotel and many more stays to come for sure.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. The included breakfast was incredible! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room is full of character, aesthetically pleasing and very thoughtfully arranged. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We would definitely visit again.

Superb accommodation in a gorgeous part of the world. Our apartment was well-stocked, spacious and clean, with an amazingly comfortable bed and fantastic shower. The location is great for walking, and parking was really easy. We really felt like it was our home from home for those few days. Will definitely be returning.
