The hotel overlooks Burray Harbour and Watersound Bay. A general store and newspaper shop are a short walk away and Pentland Ferries terminal at St Margaret’s Hope is 4 miles away. The staff was wonderful. They were welcoming, gracious and extra-accommodating. We arrived later than the restaurant was open, but they were willing to stay open and serve us from the Bar Menu (which was delilcious). The entire stay was delightful.
