The views from the room - Iris - are spot on like on the fotos. The apartment is at a stone’s throw from the yacht harbor right in the old town of Kavala. It has everything you need for a self-cateted stay: fridge, coffee machine… The rooms are spacious and would fit a family of 4. Charis, the owner, has plenty of recommendations, be it for beaches, restaurant, you name it. They took always only a few minutes to answer any requests. We will definitely return and will never stay anywhere else but at Iridium.

The two pools in front of the hotel are a big plus, and the food was absolutely delicious. The beach terrace, where you can enjoy both breakfast and dinner, is simply superb. We found a last-minute booking with same-day reservation in mid-February. The location of the house is so great, it’s right next to all the attractions. We walked everywhere. Although there is no parking, our host Niko took us to a public parking space, and our car was safe there throughout our two-day stay. Niko even made a reservation for us for Valentine’s Day. He was very helpful. The bedroom has a terrace with a direct view of the sea, and it was amazing to sleep without closing the curtains and wake up with natural daylight. There’s also a large terrace accessible from the living room. Even in the middle of winter, it was beautiful. The house was heated very well with the air conditioner. We would love to plan a longer trip in the summer. Both Alexandroupoli and this house will be even more enjoyable in the summer months.

The location is great, very close to the center. It is very new furnished, whatever we need was already in the room. We could park at the front of house. The staff, Stella is extremely friendly. We had an early check in around 10am which was great, she helped us a lot in everything. We definitely recommend this property!

We enjoyed sipping retsina on our balcony and watching the activity below, while inside it was silent—we slept so well on the comfortable bed! The hosts were very thoughtful, and always available. We would surely choose this apartment again next time we’re in Xanthi!
