In an era when hotels are teeming with fake hospitality, Materra knows what genuine human touch means. The wellness centre covering 1500 square metres envelopes the entire first floor of the hotel. Even though we did not try the holistic massages or rituals, we were amazed by the design, especially the sauna part. You will understand what wholeness means in this hotel. Exceptional!

It's a brand new hotel, like, a 10-minute walk from tram line 1, which takes you right into the city center or straight to Tvrđa. There's a Mlinar bakery right across the street, and a little grocery store downstairs, which is super handy since the hotel doesn't do breakfast. Plus, there's a coffee machine in the room, and they refill the Nespresso capsules every day. Everything's super clean, I have no complaints at all.

The interior is beautifully decorated, and we were welcomed to a fully Christmas-themed setup, complete with gifts on the table. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly think of needing, and then some - truly exceeding expectations. I’ve never experienced such a well-thought-out and cozy stay on Booking.com before. Highly recommended!

The apartment was great, same as the location. The host prepared everything as agreed. The parking is available which is great and the city centre just in a few minutes walk. For all of those travelling to Đakovo for a weekend getaway or for a longer period, this is a great spot.
