And I stayed in many places in Europe. The bed in the middle of the room with a view over the sea through large windows was the cherry on the top. Breakfast was amazing. I have nothing to complain about. I will be really harsh of other hotels from now on. It will be really hard for others to compete with this one.

We were traveling across the Jadran magistrala and stayed one night, they were so helpful and pleasant and like family greeting us, I would definitely go only for this hotel, if not for the great place that Makarska is.

Allowed us to have the room before check in time and upgraded us to beautiful room. Also checked out an hour later than required. We have stayed in the hotel before and always found the staff so obliging.

The moment I found this property after at least an hour of searching through websites, I knew I found the right place to celebrate my birthday. The vibes I felt were incredible. Kristina went out of her way to meet my special request and email me back instantly. I have anxiety when it comes to parking because I’ve noticed that most hotels can be on cliffs, in tight areas, on side streets with inconvenient meters, paying $25+, valet only, and/or having to parallel park. This was not the case here, a free lot that was rather easy to navigate, especially if you park in the field instead of down by the entrance. The check-in and check-out process was extremely fast and easy. Both front desk agents I had the pleasure of meeting were very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. I’m Croatian American and they had no problem switching back and forth between languages and making me feel comfortable when answering several of my questions. The facility is clean and well organized. The decor was super cute. The amenities they provide honestly couldn’t be better, especially the balcony, pool, ample seating, and the stunning location with views all around for frame worthy pictures. I didn’t get the chance to eat at their restaurant but they were kind enough to allow me to store my birthday cake in their fridge. I mean, the list can go on for miles. Everything and everyone is amazing here and I’m already thinking about booking my next stay.

The hotel is located maybe on the most peaceful spot of town, among trees, far from the hottest spot of people. There was no disturbance, whatsoever, only sounds outside being the birds and the sounds from tennis court. No nuisance at all. We also spotted a squirrel living in the neighbour and bats in the evening, which was very nice indeed. The landscape is excellent from the top floor; islands, the sea and the tree tops. The tennis courts offer entertainment, it was fun to watch people playing! We had a balcony in the South corner which offers also a stunning view to the mountains. The hotel itself is very nice and tidy. The rooms have plenty of space, with very comfy beds. The breakfast is excellent with numerous items to choose from, from cereals to fruits and everything between. There is also a possibility of gluten free options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And quick in their actions. Their English was also excellent: no challenges in communication, whatsoever.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, Bel Residence is located 450 metres from Trstenik Beach and 900 metres from Firule Beach in Split. Very clean, comfortable and very very friendly staff. I dont know if its Split or the hotel, but taking a shower there felt better than at home!
