Within 30 acres of private woodland, Rosleague Manor Hotel provides luxurious accommodation near Ballinakill Bay. Beautiful manor by the lake. Location couldn’t be better. I love the surroundings, the morning walk along the lake and in the woods was so pleasant. Dinner was excellent. I would come back to stay here for longer days.

Situated on the outskirts of picturesque Connemara National Park, Ben Breen House is a family-run B&B offering modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, free parking, and easy access to Clifden, just a 10-minute... I just loved our welcome, the comfort of our room and the wonderful breakfast the following morning. The situation is remarkable, with views across the lakes and the mountains. It was so good I will always return when I'm in this area again. The hostess, Noreen, is marvelous and so helpful with information of the surrounding area. A fantastic place to stay in the heart of Connemara countryside but within easy driving to Clifden. Clifden is a real gem with great live traditional music, restaurants and shopping. My only regret is that I didn't have the time to stay longer. Well done Noreen. I really hope to come back some day.

Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. Excellent advice, made to feel very welcome and with great walks and cycling nearby.

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. Location, environment, character, staff, breakfast. All that means one is spoiled. Have to be back to enjoy the prosecco and history tales we missed due to late arrival. But we enjoyed the evening music and atmosphere.

In all honesty when we first arrived we thought the hotel was a bit run down. How wrong we were. There was work being done and when finished it'll be stunning. Inside was homely, so if you want modern, this isn't the hotel for you. We (my daughter and I), loved the homely feeling and decor. The staff were first class and couldn't do enough for us. The food was exceptional! We had an evening meal and breakfast the next morning and couldn't fault it at all. The room was spacious and overlooked Lough Inagh. Stunning! The beds were very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to go back. AND they are dog friendly too, even though I didn't have my four legged friend with us.
