Mount Juliet Estate is set in 500 acres of Irish Countryside. The historic estate is located in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and dates back to 1757. On the estate, there are two residences, the historic Georgian Manor House and chic, sophisticated Hunters Yard. Both properties offer luxurious 5-star accommodation. This is a 12 out of 10 stay! Absolutely fantastic estate. not only did we feel taken care of, there is so much to see and do at Mount Juliet. It wouldn’t be right to end the review without mentioning David. He is an exceptional part of the staff that made us feel like royalty. All the small gestures added up to great memories. Thank you David for teaching us about the Estate and making sure we enjoyed every inch of our stay! oh, and you must try a Lemondrop if you stop by the bar. We’ll definitely be back!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. This is quite possibly one of the loveliest places we have ever stayed in all of our travels. It is beautiful space—well decorated and spotless—and our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts are delicious and generous. We would be delighted if we could return and stay again.

Contemporary Irish cuisine is on the menu at Yew Restaurant which uses locally sourced ingredients while Tupper's is a traditional Irish bar which also serves bar food. The Grill & Bar features an open kitchen, cocktail bar and panoramic views. It is located on the mezzanine level and features dishes such as Tomahawk steak and lobster. Excellent staff. Loved the restaurants. Great walks too.

Set within 1.6 km of Kilkenny Castle and 4.5 km of Kilkenny Railway Station in Kilkenny, Laragh House B&B provides accommodation with seating area. The management of the property is smooth and efficient and nothing was an issue. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my groomsmen and the space that the accomodation provides is ample especially the outdoor area.
