We liked the outdoor patio in the sunshine and a cosy wood fire in the evening.

The famous monastery of Glendalough is just 15 minutes’ drive away. This place is really like from a fairy tale. I loved every detail in the whole house. The biggest gem is Daphne, sweet, funny, cheerful. Communicative, willing, helpful, hospitable. Her breakfast was divine, every day we had to taste something different. Every time it was excellent. The place is great, close to beautiful mountains and cities. Quiet with parking. Thank you very much for a wonderful 3 days. I hope we come back.

We got a warm welcome by Peter on arrival who showed us to the cottage and around the site. The welcome breakfast hamper was lovely with homemade granola, honey, butter, bread, eggs, milk and jam. The location was beautiful, peaceful and the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The private hot tub a huge plus with the kids. Super comfy beds and everything you needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We would love to go back and stay again.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was superb,again the finish & detail was excellent. The private furnished courtyard was delightful....if only the weather had cooperated! The location is superb....an excellent pub serving delicious food is just a few doors away....very convenient!

A very beautiful garden and studio that looked well-maintained. We traveled everywhere by public transport and were able to reach the places we wanted to see (even though there aren't that many buses running). The hosts also provided helpful tips for places to visit. Definitely recommended!
