Killarney Lodge is just 3 km from Lough Leane and boasts several wonderful golf courses on its doorstep. The Lodge also offers an extensive breakfast menu. Of all the places we stayed in our nearly 3 week trip in Ireland, the Killarney Lodge was our favorite. The location is excellent as it is steps away from the entrance to the national park, rail station, shops and restaurants but it is not in the noisy and congested city center. The hotel’s grounds and its interior decorations and furnishings were impeccably clean and attractive. The staff was vey knowledgeable and helpful. And breakfasts were filled with healthful and flavorful options. Would definitely come back.

Rooms are individually decorated with a lovely country house style. The rooms all have en suite showers, satellite TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Irons, hairdryers and telephones are also provided and free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Staff was so nice and really seemed to like their jobs.

Rooms at the 4-star family-run hotel have baths and shower. They also have satellite TVs, hair dryers and most rooms have countryside views, some have balconies. The hotel’s lakeside location is simply absolutely magical - the views are stunning. A perfect spot for relaxation, peaceful walks, and exploring the Ring of Kerry.

Bathrooms feature a large bathtub, a power shower, and luxury toiletries. The staff was professional, courteous, wonderful, and pleasant! The room and the entire hotel was so beautifully kept and decorated. The furniture, the drapes, the art; all very classy and romantic. The location couldn't be better with a short walk to town, easy parking, and peace and quiet. Breakfast was incredible with all options you could think of.

With a relaxed atmosphere complemented by old style charm and hospitality, the Old Weir Lodge features a spacious foyer and beautifully appointed resident's lounge which provide a comfortable and friendly setting. Went with my two sisters and Mum to celebrate her 80th. She had lived in Killarney in her 20s and kept saying how much she wished she could go back - but she doubted she ever would now. So we made it happen. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Wonderful property, fabulous staff and our family room - which slept four was light, spacious and spotlessly clean. We didn’t want a chain for this special visit. We wanted something more personal and from communication before we arrived, to the exceptional staff that served breakfast, to the guy behind the front desk, we were made to feel special. And talking of the breakfast, it was truly spectacular! We loved the scones and the porridge particularly 🤗 Thank you for a truly memorable few days.

The property has mountain and garden views, and is 17 km from O'Connell Memorial Church. When staying at the country house, guests can use private entrance. If I could give 6 stars I would! Kingston's Townhouse, a property with a bar, is situated in Killorglin, 21 km from St Mary's Cathedral, 24 km from Gleneagle INEC Arena, as well as 26 km from Muckross Abbey. This 4-star guest house offers water sports facilities, luggage storage space and free WiFi. Carrantuohill Mountain is 33 km from the guest house and FitzGerald Stadium is 22 km away. The apartment was beautiful, great location and very comfortable.

The view from our room was one of the best of the places we stayed in Ireland. The full Irish breakfast was lovely, and a reasonable price. Would recommend Valentia Island and Horizon view to people vacationing in Ireland.
