The rooms, the food, the nature and surrounds were all wonderful. The staff were very attentive; Sujith, Prince and everybody there who were all very hospitable. The natural stream was the highlight for me where I had the most rejuvenating experience in a long time. All in all, we can wholeheartedly recommend.

From the food service to guard they have been the most humble and always with the best smile on their faces. The rooms are spacious and neat. Love and the best experience. My first trip to India and I can say I ended it in the best way.

The property is located at an extremely serene place. Just book the property and stay there. You dont need to go out. You can enjoy the view inside the resort itself. We travelled as a group of four frieds and we just spent 4 hours talking to each other taking a walk by the creek inside the property.

Wayanad Wild is designed as a rainforest lodge, aimed at offering our guests an off-the-grid experience amidst the wilderness. After climbing a most impressive pass comprising of no more than 9 hairpin bends we popped out at the top to find the town of Wayanad. A jeep ride later traversing tea plantations we entered the heavily forested wonderland, which is the setting of the Wayanad Wild Resort. This CGH property is very well appointed, suitably understated to blend into the surroundings and clearly well managed by David Raju and his team. David is a leading naturalist in India having recently compiled two field guides on southern and central India with one on western India about to go to press. We saw things here that we had not seen elsewhere, particularly on the night tours, including 8 frog and 5 snake species! The rooms were very comfortable and the food was delicious. Our one night stay here, particularly the walks with Umesh, were memorable.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional customer service that set the tone for a memorable stay. The staff at Mount Xanadu went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met, and their warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. Our room had a breathtaking view facing the hills and the serene river, which made waking up each morning an absolute delight. The panoramic scenery was nothing short of picturesque, and we spent countless hours simply soaking it all in from our balcony. There’s something incredibly soothing about the gentle sounds of nature combined with the stunning landscape, making it a perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. What truly stood out was the cordiality and courtesy of the entire staff. Whether it was the front desk personnel, the restaurant team, or housekeeping, everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to assist. They not only addressed our requests promptly but also offered insightful recommendations for exploring Wayanad, enhancing our overall experience. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in Wayanad with unparalleled views and outstanding service, I highly recommend Mount Xanadu.
