The individuals running the hotel were most welcoming and attentive. The public baths felt very looked after, and the rooms felt incredibly authentic. My party was greatly appreciative of the staff and how willing they were to help us settle in. Despite their somewhat limited English, we still felt like they did their best to communicate and we certainly felt cared for throughout our time there.
We trust recommend checking out their outdoor onsen and massage chairs, which are most indulgent indedd! We really recommend this one!

Excellent location facing beautiful Tone River. Staffs are always very courteous. Alway love to dine at Kawa Han, that their staffs, kaiseki menus and the choices of fine sake are truly superb.
We stayed at Micasa for two nights and really enjoyed ourselves. Outstanding breakfast and dinner, wonderful onsens (we particularly liked the one in the open air), it's really magical when it's snowing outside, friendly staff. I've read that other guests complained about not having a private shower in their room - we had one. Wi-Fi was ok. Would definitely recommend!
My wife and I were a little suspicious about this "Love" hotel (adults only), but it offers nothing but luxury: King size bed, jacuzzi and private terrace. The complementary breakfast was delivered to our room. Very clean, spacious and quiet room. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!
The full kaiseki ryouri meal was exactly the luxurious and expansive meal I was hoping for. The baths were soothing and the yukata provided were comfortable.
A very modern take on a Japanese ryokan. The balcony onsen for each room was extra special. The dinner menu was also outstanding.
Very spacious and luxurious. Onsen were not overcrowded and the location is great. Staff were friendly.
Hotel was well located for Yubatake streets and centre. Also other onsen were within reach of the hotel (up to 10 minutes walk), although the hotel had their own onsen which we used. The meals were amazing (we had the half board option), with so much choice we couldn't eat it all. The quality was very good with chefs cooking some of the options in front of you. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially at meal times and reception giving us directions. An excellent hotel for Kusatsu Onsen, and an amazing experience.
Room service, Staff, Breakfast all superb.
Location right by the lake is great, the staff were really accomodating and the onsen was also top quality. One traveler requested a change in the standard breakfast which was surprisingly agreed with the chef.
