The staff were exceedingly helpful, cheerful and caring. They took time to show us the map and how to navigate our way in Hiroshima. Looking out to sea from the room, a tiny tori gate in the distance. It was like heaven.

The free drinks and ice cream on the rooftop bar was a nice touch. Great location. Easy walk from the ferry and to the sites of Myajima island.

Located in the World Heritage Miyajima Island, Iwaso features Japanese-style accommodations with beautiful surrounding views. We stayed in the older part of the ryokan and it was spectacular. The rooms have beautiful views and the onsen is heavenly. Staff were friendly and helpful, and our meals were delicious and perfectly presented. We had a very romantic stay and enjoyed being on the island at night. Do yourself a favour and wear the yukata - it's the most comfortable clothing I've ever worn. We would love to come back!
