Great location, very nice setting and loved the different Onsen. The food was amazing and the staff very thoughtful and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

We arrived to Kurokawa by bus, were contacted by the Hotel well before hand, and Hotel staff was waiting for us to take our luggage to the Hotel for us by car. We also got a ride to the bus after check-out. Not all of the staff was fluent in english but they were eager to help whenever needed. Onsen pass can be purchased from the Hotel lobby and they can give recommentations of nearby onsens. The hotel's own onsen was really nice, including both in- and -out-door baths and a cold bath for cooling off especially after sauna. In February we enjoyed onsen with light snow. During summer or autumn, the scenery is surely even more stunning. In addition to men's/women's baths, the Hotel has three small private/family onsen baths that can be reserved from the lobby even in the early morning hours. Sauna in the onsen smelled a pit feird. That is, said by a Finn - but onsens are the THING here. Really good breakfast and dinner! The room had plenty of space and a really nice atmosphere.

Injouse private hotspring in room with special hotspring to reserve is a bonus. what we did not expect is the in room Dining room which we can even grill our meat there!

Ryotei Matsuya Honkan Suizenji ligger i Kumamoto, 4 minutters gang fra Suizenji Park og 3,5 km fra Kumamoto-borgen. Her er en bar og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi. The hotel is right be the Suizenji park and the associated trails along the river. It's very peaceful and beautiful. Good for birdwatching. It's also right near the tram into the center of the city right up to the castle stop (Y180 flat rate) which is really convenient and cheap. The hotel itself is really well appointed and has 2 private and 1 public onsen which was really nice.

TABINE 1min walk to JR Station Prime Location ligger i Kumamoto, 13 minutters gang fra Suizenji Park, og har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. The location was great, and free parking was a wonderful bonus!

Hikyou Shirakawagensen Sansou Takefue ligger i Minamioguni, 42 km fra Aso-bjerget, og har en have, en bar og massagebehandlinger samt gratis privat parkering. I liked the location of the hotel and attention the staff gave to us. Every room has a private onsen which was also a major plus and ours was very large. Food was excellent.
