The suites at Kobe have air conditioning, a minibar, seating area and a bathroom with shower and bidet. The beds are draped with mosquito nets and each suite has satellite TV. Guests can enjoy sea or garden views. Amazing, secluded butique hotel, fantastic and helpful staff, spacious, clean and comfortable rooms, tasty food, beatiful beach. We will definately choose this one again if we are in Watamu in the future.

Q Boutique Resort Malindi has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Malindi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor pool. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a concierge service and free WiFi. There are few properties I've considered giving such a high rating as Q boutique to be honest and they deserve it! It's a fairly new property but they've really considered so many aspects of their experience. The staff are very thoughtful and helpful and warm. The rooms/villas are quaint and cozy while still meeting professional standards of hospitality. The breakfasts had a good variety of dishes and even a few things we asked for on request like lemon tea. The dinner was a hearty serving of very fluffy mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and the tastiest fish! I really like their swimming pool, it was always clean and especially by afternoon the water's a great temperature. We ended up staying an extra night than what was planned at Q boutique because we had such a good experience. I'd definitely go back here and it would be my luxury place of choice for Malindi.

Located on Watamu beach, the luxury Medina Palms features unique architecture and a tropical garden, outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and views of the Indian Ocean. Free WiFi is offered in public areas. The staff: Peter, Gideon, Juma and Patrick at reception were courteous, fulfilled all our wishes and communicated very well with the relevant departments. We immediately felt at home. As I am vegan, it is a bit difficult for me here in Kenya to always choose something from the menu. The waiter Dena was very courteous, understanding, helpful and very knowledgeable. He went through the menu with me every day and always gave me very good advice so that the chef could cook it. Employees like him should be encouraged and appreciated more. Waiter Robert always gave us something to laugh about at the bar and the drinks were very good. No headaches the next day, he was a pleasure to work with. Many thanks to Sofia from the breakfast service, she always had a smile on her face and sweetened our day so we could start the day well. Margaret's pancakes are a must at Medina Palms, they are delicious. Mercy, our housekeeping queen. She wowed us every day with new room decorations Always very lovingly done now I can say I have always slept on cloud nine at Medina Palms. Thank you, Queen Mercy. An appeal to the management of Medina Palms staff to show more encouragement and appreciation the facilities and location are not worth 5 stars for me. The heart of Medina Palms is the staff. The rooms are furnished in a modern style and offer bright interiors with views of the ocean. Each has a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Everything was amazing! It is a beautiful hotel with very kind and helpful staff.

The property was beautiful but did not have a functioning pool which was highlighted as the feature of the place.
