Mara’s tents include a wooden, 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and flush toilets. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. Safari camp with a swimming pool overlooking the river. Very close to the landing strip. Very convenient location. F&B: very good options on the menu. Changes daily ( a la carte) and when camp is full they set up a buffet. We tried both. Fully enjoyable. Game drives are included. Great value. Excellent experienced guides (Raphael was informative, patient, a careful driver and a great conversationist) The camp staff were super accommodating and very approachable. They brought a fridge to our tent when we informed them there wasn't one. Housekeeping is impeccable, room was spotless at all times. Nice gesture of hot water bottles in the bed at night. Drink requests delivered to the room early in the morning before game drive. A wonderful experience. Excellent overall

Located in Masai Mara, Olarro Plains provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a terrace.

There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Only the few people staying at the 2 properties can safari on the conservancy. Luckily I had the property to myself and was able to spend most of my time in the bush. The staff were awesome especially the safari guide.

PrideInn Mara Camp & Cottages has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Talek. This 5-star resort offers room service, a concierge service and free WiFi. The accommodation offers evening entertainment and a tour desk. I booked PrideInn myself, which is not a typical move at Masai Mara (usually a tour provider would sort everything out for you for a hefty fee), so I was prepared for things to be a little patchy. Instead, PrideInn defied my expectations at every turn, and ensured that everything was as smooth and seamless for me and my group. Service is outstanding, from the frontperson (Edison and Sylvia), the restaurant staff (Ambani and Dominic) to the guards, the cleaning personnel, waiters, chefs and bartenders. No one spared a smile or a kind gesture and were committed to meet us in our needs and special requirements. Rooms (whether tents or cottages) were exceedingly comfortable and well equipped — proper mattresses, thick blankets, clean towels, toileteries offered, plenty of power outlets, sufficient lighting, hot water (actually hot) running without an issue. Common areas strategically located by the Talek river are a delight. Food was plentiful and delicious. Something for every taste. I am vegan and never found myself wanting; chef was there to answer my questions on ingredients and special dietary requests were met within minutes. Ambani took care of organizing for us a packed breakfast for our esrly morning game drive, making sure that every box was marked with name and packed with the specific things we had selected the night before. For a person with high standards is such a joy to leave an accommodation without a qualm or complaint, only with the certainty that I will come back.

Sarova Mara Game Camp is nestled within in the heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, surrounded by 2 streams the camp also features a exotic trees, a large fish pond and an Maasai village adjoining the camp. First off, the staff at this hotel are exceptional, everyone you meet is happy, positive and goes above and beyond your expectations of quality service. The club room option, while a bit expensive, is an incredible experience. There is access to a members only lounge and swimming pool, so you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks. We practically had the place to ourselves, including the chef. The food was fantastic and varied daily, prepared by the excellent chef Steven and his assistant Daglas, who are both absolute gentlemen. The service we got was so good, we made a list of names of the staff who made our stay most memorable. Doreen, Caroline, Andy and Alex running the lounge were always on hand, with a drink, for a chat, a laugh and to share some local knowledge with us, they made every meal time a joy. Jack looked after our room and was on call at any moment to get us whatever we needed, he is an extremely nice, friendly person and a great ambassador for the Sarova brand. Veronica doing entertainment and games is full of positive energy and always greets you with a big smile, creating a lovely, fun atmosphere around the place. Upon arrival, we were met by the wonderful Ruth, who can organise and fix anything for the guests,, she is an amazing person and really enhanced the experience of our visit. And last but not least our guide for the game drive, Daniel, being a Masai he has great knowledge of Masai Mara, where best to see the big 5, and all the other incredible animals and birds, we had an amazing time with him as our guide. I honestly can't speak more highly about the place and all the staff we met were amazing, just the list above are the people who we spent the most time with. There's a nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere to the place with a genuine commitment by everyone to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible. We will 100% be back!

Enjoy exhilarating excursions deep into the Masai Mara Game Reserve with activities and adventures as intrepid as you choose to be during your stay. Savour superb chef-prepared cuisine in our onsite restaurant and with unforgettable “Bush Dining” and “Sundowner” experiences. Rediscover how special family time can be with game drives, breakfasts by the hippo pool and visits to an authentic Maasai village. The staff made me feel like home. I travelled alone but Ann, Diana , Sylvia were so friendly with me, I did not feel lonely at all. I made friends instead. Levis exactly knew where to find all the wild animals.
