I am incredibly impressed with the outstanding customer service at this establishment. While traveling for work, I had to take public transport and required a very late check-in at 4 AM. Many other places either refused me or tried to charge for two full days, even though I was only staying for a few hours. In a last-minute decision right before boarding my bus, I booked this hotel and explained my situation. To my relief, they immediately agreed to my request without any hesitation or additional fees. When I arrived in the early hours of the morning, everything was perfectly prepared for me. The place itself is lovely, with a unique touch: each room has its own private outdoor seating area complete with a sofa, table, and even a ceiling fan. On top of all that, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of town, making everything easily accessible by foot. I can't recommend this place enough, especially for their wonderful hospitality!

Royal Beach is well-located, offering beachfront accommodation with a calm atmosphere and no noisy parties next door. The staff is genuinely nice and helpful, particularly Rina, the main man who is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. I cannot speak highly enough of him. He efficiently organized surf lessons for my girlfriend and arranged tuk-tuk transfers to various surf spots. Additionally, when one of the tours my girlfriend had booked with another organizer fell through at the last minute, Rina swiftly arranged a safari tour as a replacement. Rina is the person with all the solutions! We plan to return soon, and he will be the first person we say hello to.

Jetwing Surf & Safari, A Luxury Reserve is located in Pottuvil, 3.1 km from Whiskey Point. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. I had a wonderful stay at Jetwing! The staff were friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was excellent. The facilities and pool were perfect for relaxing. Resting on the southeast coast of Sri Lanka in the peaceful village of Pottuvil, Jetwing Kottukal Beach House is just 4 km from Kottukal Beach. This is a beautiful beach villa, colonial style, with a lot of privacy. Wonderful location, really excluded, fantastic views. Great and very helpful staff. Rooms are spacious, well equipped, very clean, so are the bathrooms. We had there everything we needed. Tasty and full breakfasts. You can eat lunch and dinner at the villa and I don't agree that they are overpriced, as some guests mentioned in their opinions. Dishes were tasty and various, priced as in an average restaurant in Arugam Bay. Overall, I wish I could come back here one day, maybe in a larger group to have the villa for our own.
