The staff was very kind and attentive. The food was a bit pricey after adding all the taxes and service charge, but it was really good.

Beautiful boutique hotel with amazing direct beach views, the staff were incredible..the beaches are beautiful (two sides), pool stays till 10 pm. Credits to Nilanga, who made sure to accommodate my requests and also provided me with snacks for the road without asking. Also their guard went out of his way to show me the other side of the beach. It's paradise, good for quiet time from the city and buzz. Great food.

Their attention to detail and willingness to cater to our needs was refreshing to see. One example was the initiative taken by the chef to bake a "rice flour bread" when informed that one of our guests gluten intolerant. Special mention of Lalith, Sahas and Tharanga for their excellent customer service.

Saman’s main restaurant offers an international menu and local specialities for dinner, while the terrace restaurant provides breakfast and lunch. Guests can also enjoy stunning views of the ocean with their drinks at the bar. My partner and I stayed for 6 nights and it couldn’t have been any better. The service was exceptional - Dulara, our personal assistant was there at any moment for any request but what made him so good was his ability to work around our days and initiative to understand what we wanted before we even asked. Hope his management understands how good he is as an employee and highly recommend any guest to ask for him when staying there in the future. The rooms were spacious and so close to the beach with amazing views of the coastline. The infinity pool was exceptional positioned right on the cliff overlooking the ocean. The main thing I can’t get over was the food, it was incredible. Every dish, breakfast or dinner was next level, extremely fresh and amazingly tasteful. I can’t wait to come back - Sri Lanka is amazing but this place is special

This Ayurveda retreat is a gem , we liked the treatments that are done under supervision from specialized doctors, the authentic healthy food, the staff , and the Yoga . And the acupuncture treatments as well. we went there with chronic pains and left with much better state of body and mind . Hash and her mom were amazing as a host. They did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. During the stay I had a freak accident with my son and she went out of the way to help us and get the necessary treatment for my child. Breakfast was very good as well. They had even decorated the rooms with a personal touch.

At the bottom of the garden, guests can cross the railway track to find themselves on the beautiful beach. Wow! This property was such good value. They own this property and the one next door (which is connected by a small passage way!) This one is more modern, while the other is more "historical" but both are stunning and you couldn't go wrong either way. The rooms are beautiful, and the food is excellent. It's a small hotel so there are only a few guests which was great. People alternated between hanging out at the beach, by the pool, or in the shaded areas playing games and reading books. The location is so charming - it's close to the Bentota restaurants if you want to uber for dinner. But you'll probably never want to leave either since the food is so good and you have everything you need on property. Right outside the backyard of the hotel is the beach. It's a very short walk and you have to cross over these train tracks. You'll hear the train go by several times a day, but it's not too loud! I actually sat to watch the train and passengers go by often, and it made for lots of great pictures and videos. I appreciated how helpful the staff were. I could Whatsapp them no matter what I needed, for instance when they helped me arrange a massage at the spa. They also surprised me with a special dinner, birthday cake, and flowers for my birthday! I wish I had discovered this hotel earlier on my trip because I would've stayed the entire time. It was my favorite hotel of my two week long trip in Sri Lanka, and there were many other great ones! Don't hesitate, just book this! I will never stay at a larger hotel again.
