Villa Rumassala Luxury Chalets Unawatuna ở Unawatuna có trung tâm thể dục, khu vườn và sân hiên phơi nắng với hồ bơi và bữa sáng kiểu lục địa. I had a fantastic 7-day stay at Villa Rumassala—and I loved it so much that I extended my visit by another 10 days. I was based there while completing a medical elective at a nearby hospital, and the villa offered the perfect balance of comfort and tranquillity. Tucked away from the main road, it felt like a peaceful retreat, complete with a serene pool and fresh towels provided daily. The Villas are located about 15 min walk from the main Unawatuna beach and shopping/food area or a short tuktuk ride to Jungle beach (unless you're ok with walking up some steep hills!). The rooms were spacious, exceptionally comfortable, and featured modern, spotless bathrooms. I particularly appreciated the communal kitchen area, which included a kettle and a washing machine—small touches that made a big difference during a longer stay. There was 24/7 security, making me feel safe throughout my stay. There was also a small gym that was open 24/7, however it did not have aircon which might put people off using in the Sri Lankan heat! What truly made my time unforgettable was the staff. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, always making sure I had everything I needed. I was even invited to join in the Sinhala New Year celebrations—a beautiful and memorable experience. A special thank you to Sasini, whose kindness and attention to detail ensured I was comfortable throughout my stay.

The Sun House có hồ bơi ngoài trời, khu vườn, sân hiên và nhà hàng ở Galle. Stunning colonial house converted to a boutique hotel. Tranquil garden and small pool, but fine to refresh after a hot day out. Beautiful views, we could see the sea from our room and we had monkeys outside our window watching us shower! The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of it. Service was excellent too.

From the moment I arrived the staff did an amazing job, nothing was any trouble and always a smile.. add to this an amazing building and decor you have an amazing hotel. I made the mistake of booking a place in the fort for the social aspect that was more expensive and half as nice in every department, probably forgo the 3 nights in the new place and return to Taavetti, you won't regret booking i promise you.

Wow what a great place to relax and enjoy your privacy. A bit away from everything but it was perfect for us... The villa was spacious and clean and it was extremely private.. lovely breakfast. The staff was very kind and attentive. The food was a bit pricey after adding all the taxes and service charge, but it was really good.

Overall our stay was just beautiful! We stayed for 6 nights at the end of our Sri Lanka trip. We chose the hotel as we wanted one directly at the beach (check: The Hotel is right at the beach and you have a perfect Sea-view from every Hotel), which isn't too big (check: The hotel has 3 rooms total, so you're not just a number) and has at least the possibility to eat there (check: breakfast was included, dinner was optional but we ate there 4 times) John (the owner) and his crew is a really nice and helpful person, he even took us once to Galle, as he had something to do there so we hadn't have to take an Uber there. He was always there for a small chat (if you wanted, he was never intrusive). The boys who work for him are phenomenal! Always nice and accomodating! But also never too much. There was a menu for breakfast where you could choose between different things, in our opinon there is enough choice for a week. We even got asked the last day if we want a typical sri lankan breakfast (which we luckily had as it was really delicious!). What we have to add is, that John wasn't above to clean the beach every morning himself! We saw him cleaning some stuff which felt down from the trees or got blown at the beach infront of the hotel. This shows his passion for this hotel. Hopefully the hotel and the crew stays at is! We really can recommend a stay at Josan Villa! We will be staying there, if we come back to Sri Lanka at some point. Thanks John!

Location is perfect. The only hotel in the beach, there is no one a couple of kilometers each side. For comparison, if you go to Unawatuna you will see the difference, the very negative one. Service. The staff is very nice. Restaurant food is gorgeous. Have compared it with the best restaurants in Galle. Beach and view from the balcony are very nice.

The place is amazing!! The view, pool and the room itself, so worth it! Staff is amazing as well, he was ever supportive and great service. I already recommended to my friends this place

The place is owned and run by a very nice couple . 11/10 customer service felt like a home . The owner even dropped me off to the railway station because it was very early in the morning . The breakfast is continental and quite good.
