The city is located half an hour away by tuktuk and there’s a lot of trips you can schedule ahead with the manager of the hotel so your taxi is ready. I definitely recommend this hotel.

It's clean, the staff are attentive to your every needs. There's kayaks you can use to go explore the lagoon. The pool is wonderful. And the food is sublime, homemade. I'm running out of adjectives. It is small, and the staff really take notice of how to make everything amazing. It was my husband's birthday - and I emailed them - just letting them know. They decorated the bed, and then surprised him with a special dessert and candle, etc. They arranged our safari, and packed a bag for us when we left at 5am. (And we saw leopards and elephants!) The food was great and the beds and linens - top notch. We loved every minute of our 2 night stay. Highly recommend this when staying near Yala!
