The location is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and very comfy. They food was fantastic, both dinner and breakfast. It's just a 10min drive away from Sigiriya. Also they have the best wifi connection we had in our trip.

It is a place surrounded by nature and very quiet. There is a big pond that is right next to the lodge where you can see frogs and many many birds. The rooms are high standard, good and silent air conditioning, good shower with amenities, bathrobe, and a flash light. The people were extremely friendly and attentive. I could only touch a sun umbrella and within seconds somebody was there to help me. The continental breakfast was superb and we enjoyed it every day. Fresh juice, smoothie, yoghurt, eggs/bacon/beans, fruits, and sweets. We usually don’t eat dinner at the restaurant of the hotel but ended eating at this place every evening. The meals were so delicious and worth the price. Recommendation: Tom Yum soup and everything on the SKR specials page! They have multiple trips that they offer and arrange for you. We booked the safari in Hurulu. They knew exactly where the elephants were these days and we saw around 40 of them also very close up. Big thanks to our guide Samantha for the awesome experience🎉 And not to forget the lovely view to Lions Rock and Pidurangala. We took one of their bikes to make a nice 1.5h ride to the base of the Lions Rock and city center. It’s a cool way to discover the surroundings. We enjoyed everything and want to say big thanks to the owner and staff for taking such good care and making our stay unforgettable. ❤️

We absolutely loved staying there the host went above and beyond to make our stay as memorable as possible. The breakfast was amazing, the location was perfect. It was really close to the busy roads but still completely in nature and all quiet. The room was fine, nothing special but true to the pictures.

Featuring garden views, Isanka Lion Lodge in Sigiriya features accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Our stay was really great thanks to Isanka and his father who were really helpful. We were in sri lanka for the first time and this was our first destination so we didnt really know how to get around and they took us everywhere with their tuktuks, arranged a good massage and a safari and helped us with finding the bus to trincomalee. Thank you again and hope we will visit Your lovely house again :)!
