The atmosphere was serene and inviting, and every detail seemed designed to ensure comfort and relaxation. Our room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The common areas were equally lovely — ideal for both moments of peace and time together as a family. Whether it was a kind gesture at breakfast or a friendly chat at reception, we felt seen, valued, and cared for, especially my 15 months old daughter! This was more than just a stay; it was an experience of true hospitality. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back — thank you for everything!

Staff go out of their way to help you, to guide you, arranging all the visits you are hoping to make, calling tuk tuks, dealing with your onward journey, and all at a fair price too. The restaurant, top quality food and service. First class breakfasts, including Sri Lankan. The setting. You are bordering marshland at the foot of 2 extraordinary rocks. Wildlife everywhere, below the rocks or from the rocks, is it Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, or The Lord of the Rings? The excursions possible, apart from Lion's Rock from the hotel we visited Polonaruwa, Ritigala, and we went on a great elephant safari. All in all, one of the best places we have ever been to!

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and spa centre, Jetwing Lake is set in Dambulla in the Matale District Region, 6 km from Dambulla Cave Temple. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. 2nd visit as a layover. Stayed briefly but everything was good. Expect standard warm jetwing hospitality. Had room service. Really good food. Staff friendly and courteous.
