The bed in our room was incredibly comfortable and the cleanliness of the space was impeccable. We spent two nights at the resort and we can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable getaway. Each day was filled with fun, especially our rides with Dammika, our tuk-tuk driver from hotel. He was making every ride really fun. One of the highlights was the fantastic food and drinks offered at the restaurant. The waitstaff were the best—attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile, they made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

The restaurant is perfect, the hygiene is top, the quality of the food is great. People are super friendly. There is a great spa too with variety of massages. Ideal place to just stay and relax and/or visit some great places around. Very well decorated. A place where we will return.

The hotel is beautiful and extremely peaceful. It is a bit outside the main town, which makes it a perfect place to stay if you want to be immersed in nature and more secluded from the crowds. It is a pretty short drive to Sigyria and Pidurangala Rock. The rooms are large, beautiful, very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, and all the food was excellent. There is a lovely observation deck where you can watch the sunrise, play cards and relax with a cup of tea. There is a beautiful view of both Sigyria and Pidurangala Rock from the observation deck, and this was a highlight for us. Everyone working at the hotel is very kind and wants to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Highly recommend - we would definitely stay here again!

A nice value for money property.

Aliya Resort and Spa - Thema Collection is set amidst lush tropical foliage. Situated just opposite Sigiriya Rock, the resort boasts an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and 4 dining options. The hotel is beautiful, clean the stuff are so nice and helpful. The food in breakfast and dinner was amazing. The pool was so nice we enjoyed it very much.
