Even Before we arrived they had been so thoughtful, they organised the transport for a very fare price and since the warm welcome (with umbrellas cause it was raining) to The safari they organised for us with the picnic that was amazing (even with short notice) they surprised us. Special mention to Upul, who went beyond every day and night to make us feel so special. We visited wild culture in our honeymoon and they give us great memories, so I can’t thank enough. Distance to Yala park it’s pretty good. I read many comments before booked about the food price, let me tell was perfectly reasonable and accurate for the service, i left just one page of the menu. Also, breakfast was like a huge Brunch, once again Upul was very attendant about what we like and always offered a bit more. Rooms are huge, very well maintained and lovely decorated. Bed was comfortable, the pillows I didn’t like that much but that’s really personal i prefer the hard ones. Do not hesitate about this hotel, we have really high standards and they have been beyond expectations it’s even better than pictures.

At the luxury tent, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Amazing service, giving the best effort to make an unique experience. Despite camping, the rooms seems like a good hotel with large comfortable room. We stayed one night only, 2 could have been better for the safari and enjoy more the hotel. It was during our honeymoon and they made sure everything was pretty special. Special attention from food and beverage manager who seemed to be running the whole place, making sure everything worked out

The posh hotel is in a beautiful location, though it is a little far from Yala Reserve. It has great facilities, an amazing pool, a rooftop bar, a pool table, a karaoke room, and a spa. The spacious rooms have a garden balcony that leads to the pool area.

A good location for a hassle-free stay in Tanamalwila, Mayka's luxury holiday homes and Safari Thanamalwila is a guest house surrounded by views of the garden. The property features a garden, terrace and parking on-site among other facilities. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house features family rooms. Big room and bathroom with space to eat (so we could eat in our room instead of the restaurant upstairs, which was very cute tho...). Best wifi we had during our trip. Great location for Lunugamvehera Safari (we did not book it with them, but it seemed like we could because they also had a safari jeep). The owner speaks dutch and is very nice! We arranged a well priced tuktuk with her, that took us to Dickwella at 7 pm after our safari (about 2.30-3h drive). We enjoyed our stay and definitly recommend when visiting the Lunugamvehera side of Yala national park. Glad there was a restaurant in the hotel, because there did not seem to be much in the area (we didn't mind tho, we were only here for the safari :))

There is a seating and a dining area in all units. Beautiful stay that transported me away to nature. The camp was stunning, with amazing outdoor meals, wonderful trails, and comfortable and well appointed tents. Beyond the site itself, everyone there was so caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. The safari was AMAZING- fun, educational, and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard and even a jungle cat. This is thanks to a keen eye and ability to know where to go, which was also away from the really busy sites so it felt much more private and enjoyable than expected.
