Our experience at the Radisson Blu Resort Maldives was simply magnificent. From the moment we arrived in Malé, we were warmly welcomed and assisted throughout the entire seaplane transfer process. Upon arriving at the resort, the staff greeted us with joy and kindness. During our stay, we enjoyed unforgettable moments with the many activities the hotel has to offer (Spa, Dinner at Kabuki, Whale Shark Tour, and more!). The Spa area was perfect, with well-kept facilities and a stunning view of the crystal-clear water right beneath us. Food was delicious at every restaurant, with plenty of options to choose from and all of them really good! Finally, the Whale Shark Tour was incredible, totally worth it, we were lucky to see them! We absolutely loved the resort in every way. Every detail is designed to make guests feel like they are in paradise. The staff is incredibly friendly—from the buggy drivers to the waiters at the restaurants Raha, Eats & Beats, Crusoe’s, and Kabuki (which are the ones we tried, but I’m sure it’s the same for the others), as well as the reception and housekeeping teams, who were always attentive and warm -their professionalism and care were outstanding. Thanks to them, our stay was nothing short of perfect.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We booked full board, and the food was very good. Hotel organised a speedboat transfer for us so we didn't have to worry about it. All in all we had a great stay in sands grand and we are sure we will go back.

We recently returned from a magical stay at Nova Maldives, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm, personal, and deeply attentive. 🥐 Breakfast & Dining Experience The breakfast buffet was a standout — beautifully presented, with a wide variety of fresh options to suit every taste. They even provided avocado as per request. Whether you’re into tropical fruits, pastries or hearty hot dishes, there’s something for everyone. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly attentive, always ready to help, and keeping everything spotless. 🛏️ Accommodation We stayed in an overwater villa, and it was absolutely stunning. The villa was spacious, modern, and immaculately maintained. We especially appreciated the twice-a-day cleaning service — our room always felt fresh and cared for. 👨‍🍳 Service & Staff The service was truly world-class. Every staff member went above and beyond, but we want to give a special mention to: • All the waiters were extremely polite and nice, like Amir – incredibly professional, warm, and attentive • Ashraf – always smiling and made every meal feel special, offered his help many times and offered extra service. They made us feel welcome and remembered the little details, which added such a personal touch. 🤿 Diving Club – A Highlight of the Trip The on-site diving club was phenomenal. We joined the whale shark hunt, and it was an unforgettable experience. Huge thanks to: • Shiyaan – knowledgeable, patient, and deeply passionate about marine life • Jerry – fun, experienced, and made us feel completely safe in the water, even helped me not to sink as it was very difficult to swim while you are pregnant and trying to follow whale shark Their team was professional yet approachable — whether you’re a beginner or experienced diver, you’ll be in excellent hands.

If you plan on staying in Thoddoo, I definitely recommend Chillax. The hotel is situated in the center of the island with a 15 minute walk to either of the two Bikini beaches. The rooms are cleaned everyday, fresh towels and bedsheets are provided every 2-3 days. The staff is friendly and ready to help if you need anything (you can borrow bicycles, snorkeling equipment, beach towels). Food was delicious but be sure to be at breakfast/lunch/dinner on time because it disappears fast :D We had a great vacation here.

Set in Rasdu, Veligandu Maldives Resort Island features a private beach area. Offering a restaurant, the property also has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. Nice resort! You will get to experience every aspect of the holiday in the Maldives, at a reasonable rate, such as a journey by the sea-plane, being greeted by the resort personnel with drums, staying at a secluded heaven-like resort with wonderful clean beaches and tropical vegetation, incredible coral reef all around with beautiful fishes, staying in the water villa. if you have never been to the Maldives, choose this resort. You will not regret it for a second. Special thanks to Veligandu for special treatment on the day of our anniversary: excellent design in the room with the flowers and swan sculptures on the bed, the bottle of sparkling drink in the ice bucket, specially decorated table at dinner. The reef is one of the best in the Maldives, no matter in which direction you will swim, you will see thousands of colourful fish. But an especially nice reef starts opposite the main restaurant. I swam around the whole island except the "airport" area. It was nice everywhere. CHOOSE SEA VILLA no matter how much more expensive it is. it is much better and the experience is from another world. We stayed at both (beach and sea villas), we can tell.

Nestled on the pristine island of Thelu Veliga, located in the South Ari Atoll, approximately 90 km southwest of the capital, Malé, Drift Thelu Veliga Retreat boasts of its own magnificent house reef.... The location was perfect, the views from the room, restaurant or bar were very nice and maldivian representative. The facilities were good, everything at its place. The staff was great and welcoming. We just came back from this resort and are already planning our next vacation at the same place. We stayed for two weeks in a standard beach villa and liked everything, the most important for us being the house reef. The house reef: simply outstanding, daily encounters with the sharks, turtles, whole families of the eagle rays, porcupine and boxfish, moray eels and so on. We enjoyed snorkeling at least twice a day and were never disappointed. The food : simple but good, with Italian influence. One could find pizzas and pasta at a daily basis (pasta with speck and safran sauce is my favorite). Every day the resort changes the theme of the diner, my favorite being Maldivian, we had it twice during our stay. Live barbecue with meat and fish, live naan station (just excellent) as well as other dishes from all around the world. We also booked the lobster dinner, while being a bit too expensive, it was one of the best we had so far. The Chef prepared an excellent lemon butter sauce that was just perfect for the lobster, highlighting its delicate taste. Thanks to the General manager Jaco we also had one diner at the a la carte water villa restaurant, we liked a lot the romantic setting, lounge music, service and of course the food. The excursions: we went on a whale shark excursion and were lucky to see two different of them. In our sixth’s time in Maldives it was the first encounter, what a beautiful experience ! We also went on the night sharks snorkeling and had seen at least 30 friendly nurse sharks of different size, it was impressive and beautiful. Finally, we went on manta safari and unfortunately haven’t seen any, but we will try again the next year. The resort also organizes the house reef snorkeling excursions twice a day (free of charge) with the marine’s biologists. If you are not a confident swimmer and/or would like to know better the marine’s life, I highly recommend to give it a try. The shop: I loved this shop.
