From the moment we set foot on the pier in Guraidhoo harbor he helped make our stay truly memorable. Both Anis and his sister Aru (hope I am spelling this right) are truly generous and welcoming people, and have made a beautiful, peaceful guesthouse that is perfect for spending several days. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The AC works great. The WiFi is the best we have had in the Maldives, and you always have access to an abundance of water, coffee, tea at all hours of the day. Breakfast is simple yet nice. Ask for the mashuni roshi! In addition to making us feel right at home, Anis was able to provide useful local information about the local surf breaks, currents, weather, as well as willing to help us arrange excursions like scuba diving or fishing. They also have some snorkeling gear that you can rent for a small fee. Our only regret is that we wish we had tried more of Aru's cooking during our stay. The one dinner we had with reef fish and biryani was really tasty and we would recommend.

You will fall in love with the Avyanna Hotel! Simply enjoy and relax! It is amazing: it felt like home! We were always welcomed so warm heartedly that we felt like staying at our family or best friends - here on Guhli island! We miss them already! Thanks a million! The hotel is so clean, food is absolutely delicious and we enjoyed so much dining outside with our feet in the sand and simply enjoy and relax. Did I mention that team is exceptional?! We were surprised by them every day! Our room was lovely: friendly and bright with big windows that allow wonderful views to the ocean, sunrise and sunset. We had our own balcony but you can also use their big terrace. We were all the day at the beach and really loved the beach beds reserved for Avyanna’s guests & softest beach towels, too. (It is just a 3 minutes’ walk in the sand to get to the lovely lagune.) Bring your snorkeling set, be prepared to swim for a while crossing the wide flat area to get to the reef slope. You will be remunerated by a beautiful reef where you will see millions of fishes! Sometimes WLan in the room was not working and we came down to the inviting lobby. A good moment to enjoy the delicious, freshly made fruit juices! We highly recommend to do a private tour with Avyannas’ tour operator Shabi to see the turtles naturally eating sea weed in a lagune of another island. Shabi is the most wonderful tour guide - extremely lovely & cool with kids and interested in sustainability. We had so much fun! Plus he is a blessed free diver and photographer and awaits you under water to capture you and the colorful under water world and its creatures: so we got amazing videos and pictures - memories for a life time & and real fun! Thank you! We had dreamlike holidays thanks to the Avyanna team!

Located in South Male Atoll, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi covers 3.5 km length of greenery and beaches spanning across 3 islands encircling a lagoon. The overall resort experience was flawless! There is absolutely nothing to improve. My wife and I had the time of our lives. Thank you Zacarias for catering to our beck and call 24 hrs a day.

Every Naladhu Private Island experience is one to treasure. Every space is yours to own. White sandy beach, turquoise waters, the caressing sun, the lush vegetation, the Coconut Groves stretching into the sky, the ocean view villa with its rooms and great views (Sunrise from the ocean), the michelin level and 24 hour a day open Living Room restaurant with great views of Sunset, the warm hospitality and problem solving attitude of the staff was excellent and they put a lot of effort into cleaning up! Among the high quality staff at Naladhu Island, I would highlight the exceptional resort manager Fathimath Shaazleen, the efficient all-rounder Aslam, the excellent chef Arnab at the Living Room, the professional floor manager Mico at the Living Room, and all the other staff at Naladhu Island.
