Excellent hotel restaurant with daily live entertainment, hotel staff exceptionally helpful and always smiling and dedicated. We enjoyed the rich breakfast, vegetables, fruit and if the breakfast was not buffet style, it was possible to order directly with the chef's recommendation. Quiet outdoor seating by the pool. The insulation from the jungle heat was fantastic. Accommodation in cabins with all comfort and cleanliness. Everything down to the last detail. Foods generally very reasonably priced, more expensive alcohol is generally a matter of Nepal. The air conditioning is perfect and necessary, the toilet is clean, daily cleaning, the possibility to make coffee, fast internet as a matter of course. English as a language of communication is a matter of course. The Barahi chain of hotels is very similar and the services are exactly the same, at a high level. There is a swimming pool, a bar and places to rest and sunbathe. A 24/7 restaurant is the norm, security at the entrance always greets you and directs you if you ask for advice. Safari is a chapter unto itself. Breakfast in the jungle is inimitable. We saw a rhino right across the river from the hotel. We will definitely return to the hotel next year and can only recommend it. The price level is excellent, you will be hard pressed to find a better one. A clear choice for us.

Our stay at KC’s Home in Chitwan was nothing short of heartwarming. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of their extended family. They went above and beyond to assist us with everything—from answering our many queries to arranging our safari packages and even helping us book a car ride to Pokhara. The breakfast spread was another highlight. Whether you’re into à la carte options or prefer a buffet, the morning meal was both generous and delicious. The property is also strategically located, just a short distance from Chitwan National Park, making it a convenient base for wildlife adventures. A special shoutout to Roshan, his colleagues, and the management team, whose warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Their genuine smiles and helpful attitude made our stay extra special. We also fell in love with their adorable dogs—one in particular was always smiling, and though we never caught its real name, we lovingly called it “Happy.” The other mischievous golden retriever was named Coco, which we overheard from the staff as it was always being called out to. One particularly memorable moment was when the staff performed a morning pooja. They even offered us Vibhuti as part of the ritual—a kind gesture we had to politely decline since we’d rushed down for breakfast and hadn’t yet showered! It’s rare to find a place where everyone—from the management to the housekeeping team—seems genuinely happy to be there. KC’s Home lives up to its name and is truly a home away from home.

This has been an absolute dream in Chitwan! Located 25mins from Bharatpur, where the tourist bus dropped us off. We arrived to a cold towel and welcome drink (as we did after all of our excursions). Babu the manager was wonderful, explained everything to us, organised laundry, taxis and bus tickets. The lodge itself was stunning. Our lodge had a balcony facing into the jungle so we could sit in the chairs and watch birds fly around. The lodge was large, clean, well facilitated with two large bottles of drinking water everyday, a mini fridge, toiletries and air con (necessary!) The lodged are set in a beautiful complex with lots of trees, plants, a stunning pool and most importantly a river viewing deck. We saw crocodiles, gharials and deer every day from our deck. There were lizards, and an array of beautiful birds that we could see from the deck while eating our meals or enjoying a drink, and swimming in the pool with colourful birds flying overhead was fantastic. The food is exceptional, large portions and a reasonable price, a main cost between 500-1000 rupees. Tea and coffee are complimentary and can be ordered anytime. Our breakfast was included and delicious! The service is simply wonderful, all the staff speak amazing English and are so attentive, polite and friendly; they simply can't do enough for you and are happy to help with any problems or answer questions. Babu even spent extra time with us, helping us bird and croc spot from the deck. We went on three excursions, jeep safari, canoe trip and crocodile breeding centre. All were organised by the hotel with no stress. Babu and his team took us out and we saw lots of animals including: rhinos, hog deer, spotted deer, elephants, crocodiles, gharials, wild boar, peacocks, kingfishers, macaques and plenty of other birds that Babu pointed out to us. The hotel really made our holiday and we felt so special staying here.
