I have never stayed in such a spotlessly clean holiday home. It was meticulously cleaned. Caroline takes great pride in ensuring that the house is cleaned, stocked and very comfortable. Fiordland Discovery offers a scenic overnight boat cruise around New Zealand's iconic Milford Sound. One of the top things we did on our 5 week journey in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore. Couldn’t recommend enough. It was so special to stay in the sound for a night, only our boat. We went kayaking and there was no one else there. Morning cruise when the sun was rising and we were the only boat there… will never forget this. When we come back, we’ll definitely book an overnight cruise again.

Located in central Invercargill, Balmoral Lodge Motel is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. It offers satellite TV in each room and free off-street parking. We arrived early but the manager was charming & organised our check-in quickly. Better still, she gave us an upgrade to a superb unit with heaps of space. The unit was amazingly well-furnished & outstandingly comfortable.
