The property is new, very clean, well maintained and has beautiful views. You can't use a ton of the onsite facilities (like the pool that is closed) in the off season but everyone was still very friendly and helpful. We loved our boat tour we were able to book through the property and the restaurant on site had fabulous food including the breakfast which was included with our stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you would like to go to the Danube Delta.

The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk, a shuttle service, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. My husband and myself are repeat guests in Zeytun. Hotel team is extremely friendly and helpful. On arrival we had the best and fastest check in. My clothes were ironed just in 10 minutes, which was very handy as we were in a rush. Very clean and comfortable rooms, great facilities. This is the best hotel of Izmail, I would say. Everyone who stays here I highly recommend to try their grilled meat in Zeytun restaurant.

The property can be reached exclusively by boat from Tulcea. On request, transportation from Tulcea to the property can be organised at a surcharge, and public transport boats are also available. Sulina beach is a 30-minute boat ride away. On requests boat trips in the Danube Delta can be organised. Great place that offers an unique blend of traditional setting and modern comfort. The staff is truly exceptional, very kind and helpful. We are particularly grateful to our guide Costică who is not only a very skilled and cautious boat driver, but also has excellent knowledge about all the animals and plants in the Delta. My 10yo son throroughtly enjoyed being his ‘boat assistant’. We loved our tours around the lakes, Mila 23 and Sulina. The restaurant is also very good and they have many options outside the traditional fish dishes (if you’re not a huge fan of fish like us). In general the prices are very decent for all services offered including tours and activities. The pool is a nice addition, we spent some nice time there. I highly recommend the this hotel for a few days in the heart of the Delta especially if you to disconnect and unwind.

Pensiunea Casa Varvara is a recently renovated holiday home in Tulcea, where guests can make the most of its pool with a view and garden. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home features family rooms. Location was excellent, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the traditional Tulcea area village. The whole property was arranged in such a manner that guests feel welcome as soon as they step through the door. There is a very large yard, pools available, tastefully arranged garden, a small bird zoo where we fell in love with the small quails, doves and the rest of the birds present there. We really enjoyed the house we were staying at, it was nicely decorated and it had everything we needed. The hosts were very kind and were ready to fulfill all our wishes for a peaceful and pleasant stay. And naturally, we cannot forget the mini-host star, Bella. She stole our hearts :)
