From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this hotel stands out. Located just a few minutes from Västervik Centrum, it boasts an unbeatable convenience. The staff truly is exceptional – attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist. Each meal was a delightful experience, with delicious food that exceeded our expectations. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the hotel’s comfortable bed felt like a luxury. But the cherry on top has to be the breathtaking view overlooking the Baltic Sea, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that’s hard to put into words. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

It was highly equipped with what we would possibly need. ▪︎And especially we loved how considerate it has been built to be cozy, elegant, and beautiful. Seems like it has been built from the start for rentals. ▪︎Interiors was just magnificent with the color matching ▪︎Internal desing soft and elegant The bed was very comfortable! (We slept on the one closer to the living-room. The other room had a harder mattress, which is great for having the possibility to choose what is best for your own taste! Overall, it has been a perfect getaway for us, connecting away from the busy city, enjoying some quiet time. Thank you, Jennie, for your easy & rapid communication !

Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

Dorsia Hotel & Restaurant – theatrical glamour where you are treated like royalty! Dorsia may be an exclusive boutique hotel, but it feels more like a palace as you could see on my attached photos. The storybook-style is really impressive! Each room is different. Our cool room (no 303) was very well appointed and spacious, equipped with everything you could want and plenty of towels. Scrupulously clean and perhaps the most comfortable bed for any hotel I have visited! The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Having visited some of the Worlds' finest hotels, I can confidently say that Dorsia ranks among the greatest. Dorsia is member of “Small luxury hotels of the world” for a reason. A huge congratulation to the whole team at Dorsia and keep up the hard work I know it is to keep a high service level like this! Are you looking for a magic experience in Gothenburg – Dorsia is the one you are looking for. It is not cheap, but you get good value for money! Highly recommended! We liked everything about this place - the premises, the beautiful park and the food. The view from the room was amazing, as was it from the heated pool. Very friendly staff. Recommendation: Drive 20 min. to Karlshamn and take a 1h ferry round-trip inbetween the small islands. Or get off at one of them to enjoy the athmosphere.

This hotel is housed in a medieval, 13th-century building, only 100 metres from Visby Cathedral. Free WiFi is offered. As my flight to Stockholm was cancelled, I picked out this hotel out of the hotel list on Booking.com right after I confirmed with SAS customer service rep that I needed to stay overnight in Visby. To my surprise, the hotel was a jewel. The hotel is in a medieval establishment, and my wife and I enjoyed the setting including such a romantic bed. A hotel reception lady was so friendly and full of hospitality that she gave us breakfast packs of sandwiches, boiled eggs and yogurt. She also made a taxi arrangement so that we could reach Visby Airport in the early morning without a delay, I fully recommend the hotel operated by such good staff.

An amazing building staffed by amazing people. The food was top notch, matching the service. The staff was very knowledgeable regarding the history of the building and I even got a personal tour by the fantastic Michael, due to me having the luck of arriving on a slow evening. The chef had a night of due to this, but Michael made me a fabulous Toast Skagen and the best Västerbotten pie that I have lever tasted. Come to think of it, the Toast Skagen was propbably the best I ever had as well. It was served with some fantastic ölkorv (small smoked sausages). The building itself is truly amazing, I think you could walk here for days and still find new amazing details of loving craftsmanship. It is truly astonishing and a thing of beauty to behold. Henceforth, whenever I visit either Huskvarna or Jönköping, I will choosr Hotell Slottsvillan whenever possible. The 10 minute drive to central Jönköping is well worth it due to the astonishing experience of feeling as the King of the Castle for a few days. 12 out 10 stars!
