From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this hotel stands out. Located just a few minutes from Västervik Centrum, it boasts an unbeatable convenience. The staff truly is exceptional – attentive, friendly, and always eager to assist. Each meal was a delightful experience, with delicious food that exceeded our expectations. After a long day of exploring, sinking into the hotel’s comfortable bed felt like a luxury. But the cherry on top has to be the breathtaking view overlooking the Baltic Sea, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that’s hard to put into words. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

(We slept on the one closer to the living-room. The other room had a harder mattress, which is great for having the possibility to choose what is best for your own taste! Just 5 km from central Strömstad, Daftö Resort offers a summertime theme park with an outdoor pool and children's activity house. Strömstad Golf Club is 8 km away. This place was a very happy surprise in so many ways! We really did not know what to expect from a pirate-themed resort but we had a beautiful and very comfortable room. Mid-week and off-season, we had the whole resort practically to ourselves. It is situated on the water so we enjoyed a morning walk around the property. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! I can't imagine what the resort is like during the summer, it must be crazy busy with the amusement park. But if I lived near, I would definitely take my grandkids for a couple of days.

This modern and exclusive boutique hotel, 6 minutes’ walk from Gothenburg Central Station, is just 200 metres from Kungsportsplatsen Tram Stop. Breakfast was phenomenal! The staff went out of their way to get you whatever you wanted.

From the balcony of our room in the Ark building the view over the safari park was magnificent. Bambis visited us in the evening. During the guided 2 hour safari tour we saw many of the animals in the park including deer, mouflon and the European bison. Great food at the restaurant and the breakfast was good.

Perfect location - just 3 mins to main square and around 10 mins to a gas station where you can rent a car. Exceptional hospitality.
